No. I think you will find that the "7 literal days" belief varies more by community than by denomination. So you may have a community of parents such as those in Dover who believe in the literal version and tried to have it taught in theirs schools, but they may not have all gone to the same church or belonged to the same denomination. Or you may have one church out of denomination that attracts like-minded believers.

First off, who said Adam or Eve ate an apple? If you read the scripture it says they took and ate from the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. This is not an apple tree it is a tree of knowledge of good and evil. What does this type of fruit look like might be the real question to ask as well as "Is this fruit of knowledge of good and evil actually physical fruit that you pluck from a tree or is it something more....?

Actually, no. Before Adam ate of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, there was no sin in the world. Sin entered the picture because of Adam's disobedience and his eyes being opened to good and evil through eating of the fruit of the forbidden tree.
