What year was Abel born?

There is no indication as to when any of the first of Eve's children were born. Both she and Adam knew that their first commandment was to "Replenish the earth". I have in mind that they would have done this as soon as they had constructed some form of accomodation for themselves and their offspring. We cannot say at what time this was done as up until then God had not given Adam his time period.

What is the message for Christians in the Adam and Eve story?

The moral lesson from the story of Adam and Eve is respect to one's creator and parents. The only warning that God gave to Adam and Eve was not to eat of the forbidden fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Eve and then Adam were tempted by a sinister snake. They knew that what they had was due to God's generosity and kindness. But they went ahead and knowingly broke divine law. They at least could have discussed the temptations with God instead of just becoming disrespectful law breakers.

What about the pre-Adamic world?

We can not really talk about a "pre-Adamic" world. Adam and Eve form part of religious belief, not part of history. The world of ancient history and pre-history is a different world.

Which son of Adam and eve built the foundation of rebellion against God?

Cain, the son of Adam and Eve, is often viewed as the figure who built the foundation of rebellion against God. In the biblical narrative, he became envious of his brother Abel's accepted offering and ultimately killed him out of jealousy. This act of defiance against God's will is seen as the first act of rebellion, highlighting themes of sin and moral failure in humanity. Cain's actions set a precedent for disobedience and estrangement from God.

What was Eve's occupation Adam and Eve?

Eve didn't have an occupation. She was to be Adam's companion, helper, and support. She showed she could not handle equality with Adam, since she betrayed her husband's paradise by her disobedience to Adam and God. She was only worthy of death. When Adam saw her disobedience, he realized her innate weakness in not being able to be left alone. She had to be watched over and guarded by him, in order to protect her from temptation to doing the bad things that she allowed to enter into her heart. Adam chose to be loyal to his innate weak wife and not leave her to be destroyed apart from the Garden of Eden. God honored Adam's heart, and actions to rescue his wife, and told Eve, Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." Anything else that this for ALL women of all time, and they end up as betrayers in every way, just as Eve innately was.

Is Adam the first son of God?

No-one is the son of GOD. He is the only dominant power. Neither He is the father nor He has a son. Only He Has the power to give lives and death.

How many grand children did Adam and Eve have?

Adam and Eve are noted by Judaism, Christianity and Islam as having been the first human beings. Although the Bible tells us that they had children, it is not mentioned precisely how many - though we do know that they produced Cain, Abel and Seth. Genesis 5:4 says that: "After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters." Josephus, the 1st century Jewish historian wrote that Adam and Eve had 33 sons and 23 daughters. But that is all we have to go on.

Adam, Eve and their offspring lived very long lives. Adam lived 930 in total, and Seth for 912 during which he became the father of Enosh and "had other sons and daughters" (Genesis 5:7).

If we assume that all of Adam and Eve's numerous children lived similarly long lives, and enjoyed very long periods during which they were able to have children of their own, it is obvious that they would have had a very large number of grandchildren indeed - but we cannot even estimate how many with any accuracy.

When were the biblical creation stories written?

In Genesis, the earliest creation story is the second biblical creation story (Genesis 2:4b-25), attributed to an anonymous author now known as the Yahwist, believed to have lived in Judah around the tenth century BCE. Even before the Yahwist wrote this story down, it was probably circulating as an oral tradition.

The first biblical creation story (Genesis 1:1-2:4a) is attributed to another anonymous author now known as the Priestly Source, who probably lived shortly after the end of the Babylon Exile, thus the fifth century BCE.

Why did God place cherubim with a flaming sword which turned every way East of Eden?

A:

Genesis 2:17 says that God placed a Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the middle of the Garden of Eden. By eating the fruit of this tree, Adam had become god-like: (3:22) "now the man is become like one of us." Adam became like the gods, except that he was still mortal. So that he would not now eat of the Tree of Life which God had also planted in the Garden of Eden, and thus become immortal like the gods, God sent Adam and Eve from the Garden and placed cherubim (Hebrew; sing: cherub) and a flaming sword to keep (block) the path to the Tree of Life (3:24).

Why is Prophet Adam important in Islam?

Prophet Adam is very important in Islam, he was the first human created by Allah and through Awau (eve) the gave back to children, their children keep reproducing and that is how we are created.

What did Adam and Eve desire by eating of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil?

After Adam and Eve had eaten of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil they became like gods (Genesis 3:22: "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us..."), except that they were still mortal. They now realised that they were destined to die, but that by eating of the Tree of Life, which was also in the Garden of Eden, they would then also be immortal just like the gods.

God told Eve what she now already knew: that she would bear children in pain. And he told Adam what he now already knew: that he would one day die. Certainly God was angry, and cursed the ground. But it was so that they would not also eat of the Tree of Life, that he had no choice but to banish them and place cherubim and a flaming sword at the entrance of the Garden of Eden, to keep [block] the way to the Tree of Life (Genesis 3:24). Without the idyllic existence offered in the Garden of Eden, Adam would have to work all his days, to provide food.

How did God created eve?

He got the DNA of Adam, mixed it in with his KY jelly and made sweet loove to a Goddess. When she got pregnant with Adams DNA, she gave birth to Eve which is Adams sister. Thus they are brother and sister, they had an inter-blood relationship and repopulated the world.

Was Lilith a real person and Adams's wife?

We have two main sources for information on much of Jewish religion - the Bible and Jewish midrash. Lilith is not actually mentioned in the Bible, but does form part of Jewish midrash, where she is said to have been Adam's first wife. Although the name Lilith is often considered to be from the Hebrew Laylah(night), she is probably based on the Babylonian female demon, Lilitu, so on that basis we should consider her a demon, not a real person.

What is eve's mother name?

Physically, she had no mother but in the spiritual sense God was her mother and father.

How large would the world population be if God had not limited man's life?

No one can answer that question.

Originally, God did NOT limit man's life. Mankind was created 'very good' (perfect) in God's sight(Genesis 1:31), and had the prospect of living FOREVER(Genesis 2:16&17). Even with the hope of everlasting life, God's command for the earth was to 'FILL it' (Genesis 1:28), not to overflow it. Once that was accomplished, we would have to see what God would devise.

In what ways did Adam and Eve become one?

Adam and Eve became one, as Eve was created from one of Adams ribs.

Did Adam and Eve sacrifice?

After the fall?

We are not told if they did or did not. But we can assume they did, their children did and presumably Adam and Eve instructed their children how to maintain their relationship with God.

Are Adam and Eve lovers?

if you believe in Adam and eve than yes, they were lovers.

How many million years ago were Adam and Eve created?

There is no specific date as to when God created Adam and then Eve. At that time in the world there was no record kept that could determine a time frame. Some scientist (whom for the most part discredit God for creation) assume based on fossils it could have been millions of years ago, but there is no real way to tell. i don't care what scientific reason they give because how can anyone tell that something was a million years old based on fossilization when technically what research is able to confirm that theory. Fossils could easily be thousands of years old. Back to your question my theory is 6 thousand years ago and almost 7 thousand years. based on my bible studies and other studies i feel we are entering the 7 thousandth year, which from my belief is close to the time when Jesus Christ will return for His Church and the tribulation period will begin. I pray that you don't take my answer or anyone elses answers over Gods answers that are written in the Bible. If you have questions turn to the Scripture and it will be there. If you dont understand please email me cstewartets@yahoo.com and i will be more than happy to find your answers in the bible.

Read 2nd Peter Chapter 3 to understand there will be 3 reiterations of this earth

Then understand you are now in the second

Understand from that same scripture that one day with the Lord is as 1000 of mans years

Therefore in the book of Genesis you will discover 6 day (6000 years) or creation and a day of rest (7th day). This is the first week of this second earth age

The second week of this earth age begins with the man to till the soil being formed (of 6th day creation). He is formed after the 7th day of rest which would be on the 8th day.

6th day creation has replenished the earth as stated in Genesis 1:28 for 2000 years (2 days) before Adam is formed.

There will be a total of 2 weeks of 7 days each week (7000 years) accomplished in this 2nd of 3 earth ages. You are now on the 6th day of the second week. Christ will reign for 1day (1000 years) assumed to be the 7th day (as he returns at the 7th trumpet) - Revelation 20.
