One of the possible side effects of Adderall (an amphetamine) is anxiety. This should be taken into account by your physician when prescribing other drugs.

Does it not have that "sense of well being" feeling anymore? You may have developed a tolerance to this dose. It's common to need to have to adjust the dose of Adderall. A person will become tolerant to one MG amount and need a higher dose to achieve the same level of therapy. There is a point when the medical professional your seeing will decide with your help whether this is a medication that is working for you. Talk with your doctor. You may also want to try taking "holidays," as described in the PI sheet included with Adderall XR prescriptions. Essentially, a drug holiday entails taking a few days off from the medication, usually weekly or bi-weekly, in order to allow your body to lose some of the tolerance that it naturally builds over time to the effects of the drug. Before trying this, discuss it at length and in detail with your physician. He or she should be familiar with the concept and, if they are a good doctor, will be able to help you find the solution to the problem one way or the other.

Check your diet as well. Very acidic things like OJ and grapefruit juice can flush Adderall away! Also (recent personal experience) FOR ME... and perhaps others.....the anti-inflamitory drug Naproxin totally ruins the benefits of my Adderall, probably because of the acid increace:( No more Naproxin for me and I am going to tell my Dr. to warn other people too!

Adderall is not a hallucinogenic drug, so not feeling anything after taking it once is quite normal.

I would not recommend it. Zanaflex has a side-effect of causing sleepiness, and Ambien is a sleep aid itself.

There is a very high possibility of Cipro causing permanent heart damage. Cipro is the short form of a drug known as Ciprofloxacin which is an antibiotic.

Strattera was a complete waste of time for me. Lots of side effects and no efficacy.

Adderall XR is much better.

Strattera seems to be useful for about 1/2 those who take it.

Plus it's very new.

Effects of low doses of stimulants are very well understood over time. NOT SO with Strattera, despite all the fancy marketing material.

I had exact same experience as above post. Maybe Strattera is good at treating hyperactivity, but for motivation and drive it's terrible!

Same here. Personally, I think Strattera is a drug they give people at first to see who's just trying to get speed from Dr.s and who wants to really get help. If you go through the hoops, I guess they assume your genuine.

My doctor pescribed me strattera and when i took it i felt a no energy, i could not pay attention, and i felt depressed but then i took adderal and it was completely diffrent thing

Because just like (almost) every pill you take doesn't last you for a whole day (12 - 24 hrs). It also depends upon your tolerance level...how long have you been taking it, etc. If it's the first time in your life that you've taken it then it'll last a lot longer (probably) then someone who has taken it for months, years, etc.

Patients taking colchicine should stop taking it immediately if they have diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea, or vomiting. If these symptoms continue for 3 hours or more after the medicine is stopped, check with a physician

Drink alot of water. It tends to make you dehydrate. And headaches are the first sign of dehydration. Drink alot of water and the headaches will go away.

I've been taking adderall for a solid 5 years. Sometimes i have those days where the amphetamines keep me from eating all day. Not eating and drinking can disrupt your cycle and can make you irregular. I find that if I don't eat for a couple days, I can sometimes get a Urinary Tract Infection. If that's the case, drink a lot of cranberry juice and water to flood your system and clean out the bacteria :) hope i helped

Yes, the prescription drug Adderall does help people to wake up. Adderall is given to people that have an attention deficit disorder and also in some cases narcolepsy.

Most anything will not show if you piss clear enough..But be warned some places make you retest if its too clear.

It's never made me nauseous, but it definitely sounds possible. I wouldn't worry about it, it's just the way your body reacts.

Wow.. are you serious? No. No it's not. Hahah. Really, don't try that. Try 2 full Xanax bars and two adderall. Lexapro really wont do anything, trust me. Also, it'd be a waste of ambilify. I guess the best thing is start small and work your way up SLOWLY. Which really isn't worth it because then your tolerance will be up and that's more money down the drain.

the terminal end of the colon is not acidic. in fact, as you go from the stomach-small intestine-colon, the pH gradually increases from 2 to around 8. Amphetamines salts (like the ones in adderall) are weakly basic and have a pka of around 6.6. because of this, most of the drug will be in an unionized form (will not have a charge on the amine in the structure) which makes it very hydrophobic (fat loving/favorable). Because of this, the amphetamines do not have a problem passing through the cells lining the colon. This, along with the enormous amounts of capillaries underlying the colon endothelial cells will allow for a fast, and very good permeability into the systemic circulation. Also to note-this route by passes 1st pass metabolism( the process of the drug going from the intestine to liver for excretion/modification of drug), thus you get mostly all of the amphetamines into your system without any of it being hindered/excreted by the liver.

We are not sure of what you mean. If you are asking about bipolar disorder and attention deficit disorder being present together, it is quite common. You should be speaking to a mental health professional about it if you have these problems. They are both treatable (sometimes with the same medication) and you do not have to suffer.
