Steve Jobs is a Pisces by birth, as his birthday falls on February 24, 1955. His father belonged to Syria and worked as a professor and his mother was of American origin. But soon after a week the Jobs couple, who resided in Mountain View in California, adopted and named him Steven Paul.
His childhood was spent in the Silicon Valley. Steve started schooling in Cupertino Junior High School and later on Homestead High School. This was the place where the seed of electronics was sowed into his head. Bill Fernandez became friends with Steve, who was also equally interested in electronics. Jobs took up with after-school lectures at the Hewlett-Packard Company that hired Jobs later and it was here that he met Steve Wozniak, with whom he jointly made an entry it into the world of electronics.
Childhood had been very remarkable for Steve Jobs. At the age of seven he got to know about President Kennedy's assassination with which he had quite a few disturbing nights to follow up. His father, Paul Jobs was a machinist and a hard worker who was a genius too. He had made a separate section on his workbench for Steve and also gave a hammer and a saw and taught him how to work with it. Then a man, who was working as an engineer, came to reside nearby. This man was named Larry Lang and he taught Steve about the heath kits and the way to use them. So, it is right from his childhood that Steve Jobs started exploring, learning and thereby understanding even the most complex things and got his self-confidence boosted.
