Yes. If you get stranded in a jungle and you happen to have brought a bow and several arrows (which you would have to retrieve after each shot as to not lose them), you would be able to hunt your food. Keep in mind you will need to turn the bow around and use the string to make fire so you can cook your food. Assuming you have a good enough aim to actually hit something from far enough away for it to not hear you and stay still.
