I have used hydomorohone intraveineously and 10 mg Valium orally together without any problems but I would definitlely be very careful depending on your tolerance levels for each. I was doing 3 to 4 8mg pills through IV and only 1 or 2 Valium later at night to sleep.

I doubt that it would do any good. I would see a physician for better advice on medications that may help.

The side effects of the two drugs have significant overlap (especially drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, risk of slip-and-fall, others). Most of the time yes they will. Like if you're leaving for a trip or if it's only one or two days early then most places will refill the prescription. You could have gotten all of the medicine at once anyway, so they really can't keep you from getting the rest of it whenever you want to.

Now if it's a new prescription for the same medicine then you might run into trouble, but if the same doctor gave you another script then I don't think they have a choice. You will run into problems if you have gone to more than one doctor and gotten the same medicine, maybe even serious problems. Do not do this, you could risk legal action against you.

Although this combination of medications are used routinely in various patients, it should first be noted that Ativan ( as well as all other benzodiazepines) is HIGHLY ADDICTIVE and there are alternatives for treating anxiety that can be used instead of Ativan (Various SSRI's also treat anxiety without the possibility of addiction. I.e. Prozac, Zoloft, etc...). The coocurrence of addiction in those with BiPolar Mood Disoder and the various Anxiety Disorders IS high and therefor, consideration for "switching" addictions from alcohol or other substances to the benzodiazepine of choice should be discussed in detail with your physician! Specifically, in regard to the question as posted, Depakote CAN inhibit the metabolism of Ativan which - in turn - could lead to higher levels of Ativan (other than that intended) in the bloodstream. Being that blood levels of Depakote should be monitored with regularity by the prescriber whenever prescribed, blood levels of Ativan will likely be a focus as well. Ativan is constantly in your system if taken on a daily basis, it will show up as a benzodiazepine. However if a doctor prescribes this for you then whoever you are getting the drug test from can not hold it against you. I would tell the drug tester I was taking it, how much of it I was taking, and if need be bring in the pill bottle with your name and the prescription number and everything on it as proof that it is a legal use of the drug. I took Xanax (same family as Ativan) for a while, 0.5 mg as needed, and it came up on a drug test. It was not held against me because my psych doctor prescribed it.

Both Benzos. Both Anti-Anxiety oral tablets. Xanax works " FAST but doesn't LAST" (about 2 hours) so more of a "quick fix"; Atavan lasts longer 6+ hours. Both are highly addictive if used daily (for more than 4 weeks).

anything to much of a pill is a overdose. anything over 15mg of ambien is a overdose. taking to much of ambien will make you purge. but can be deadly .

700 mg/k is the ld50 for rats. for human the ld50 would be 4.2mg.

1 mg of ativan equals roughly 0.5 mg of xanax, which is the more potent of the 2 benzos

When I did it, I blacked out and vomited all night and most of the next day. I almost drown in my own vomit. I thought it would be the same as klonopin, which I take as directed by a doctor. Also, if you really are gonna snort it anyway, DO NOT drink with it. In my opinion... totally not worth it.
