What does it mean when garageband says this disk is too slow?
When this error message appears, Garageband is trying to read or write audio tracks to the hard drive and cannot write or read the information fast enough. This can be caused by a very old Mac, a hard drive nearing its capacity, or a hard drive that is being used by another program at the same time. You will need to make sure that TimeMachine backup is disabled and any other applications or utilities that access the hard drive are not running when you run Garageband.

deselect everything in horizontal view, choose the beginning and the ending of your track using the rulers above the tracks, export your song to disk as a wav file, convert the wav file to an mp3 file using some software such as vlc media player. burn an audio CD using a software such as Nero, or irecty from windows itself.
If you want to normalize it once it's exported from Live7 you should open it in Audacity and choose normalize. Then you'll have your song at an optimal volume.

A midi is a specific type of file--a certain type of sound wave (i.e. one that sounds like a piano or trombone, for example) with a set pattern of notes. You make midis by using a sheet music software such as MuseScore or Notation Composer. It is also possible to convert midis to mp3 format. However, it is NOT possible to reverse theconversion. Once a midi is converted to mp3, it loses all data specific to midis that makes the filecompatibleas a midi. Therefore, it is a one-way process, and you cannot convert any type of file to midi (midi is the "full acronym" for .mid files, by the way) as far as I know.
