How many baseballs are used in a season of Major League Baseball?

The number is actually, as of 2005, over 35,000 baseballs per MLB team, on the low end. Of course this depends on the team itself and it can vary with each team and stadium. Since over 2 million baseballs are now produced annually by Rawlings for the Majors and retail, that number could be closer to 55,000 this season.

This number includes Spring Training balls, batting practice balls and game balls, and it comes from a very reliable source, a team equipment manager (see article in links).

Update - OK I don't see the links section, it was printed in an article about the Pirates in 2005.

Answer

Do Football players make more in America Europe or Mexico?

Most: Europe most

Second Most: Mexico(Mexico is part of America)

Least: United States of America even with Beckham!!!!!!!!!

Kaka has a contract on the table worth £500,000 per week in the EPL for his new club Manchester City.. Football earnings are huge because a players career average lasts over 10 years and they can travel to different leagues to play and earn such as the EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Le Championat..etc.. (contrast this with Gridiron as there is only NFL for Gridiron players and the average NFL career lasts 3 years where they earn average $770,00 per year until they are pushed out by surplus due to the draft.. and they have nowhere else to play as the likes of NFL Europe collapsed due to zero interest)

I am sure you would like to know how much they make in each region.

In top European Leagues, players are paid between $50,000 to $7,000,000-8,000,000. But on average, most make less than 1,500,000. Stars are paid the large salaries.

The same cane be said about Mexico. However, the top salary in Mexico is $2,200,000. Most players in Mexico make $400,000 on average.

The United States of America pays very little in comparison. $27,000 - $300,000. Most players earn about $60,000 per year. Though Beckham is the exception as he rakes in est $50 million yearly.

Europe of course. teams like Manchester united, Chelsea, real Madrid pump out an average of £42m every year. the highest paid footballer in the world is now John terry(Chelsea) rakin in £150k a week.

It changes rapidly as new multi billionaires enter football regularly...Manchester City have just been taken over by the worlds richest family from Abu Dhabi...Robinho signed a yearly contract for $15.9 million...footballs finances are escalating and in particular the EPL as the worlds biggest sports league

What is the minimum number of at bats to qualify for batting title?

Generally 400 but the amount has varied as the number of games played changes. For instance George Brett won the batting title with a .390 average in a strike shortened season. Nevertheless walks do not count, since they do not count as at bats. In the early 70s a player lost the batting crown with 399 at bats when 400 were required. This rule has changed however. Now, a player just short of the required at bats could ADD the number of hitless at bats (generally meaning walks) to the number of at bats which will permit the player to still win the batting crown as long as the average does not drop below the player just below him. ---- To win a batting title in MLB, a batter must have a minimum of 502 total plate appearences for the season. Yes, any at bat that results in a non-official at bat (walk, sacrifice, hit by pitch) counts towards the total number of plate appearances.
