This is a matter of opinion. The Beagle is a sturdy small dog that is athletic and makes an excellent family pet and companion. Its coat is also easy to groom and comes in striking colours. On the downside, the Beagle is one of the most stubborn dog breeds. It is easily distracted during training and may be slow to housebreak. It is also very vocal and bays, howls and barks loudly. Beagles also shed heavily, have a distinctive odor, and are prone to a number of health problems.

Overall, I do not recommend you to get a Beagle if you have no experience in training dogs.

It depends on whether male or female. The male are slightly larger but 8 months should weigh around 70 or more pounds. The full grown size is about 80-100 pounds though some large msles can hit over 150 lbs.

feb, just when the day light hours increase to 12 hours of light, so you can just turn on the lights for 12 hours or more and cover them at night for 8 hours or so, this way they're gonna think it's breeding season cuz canaries decide when to breed during to the day light hours

I use Beniful with salmon pieces to add shine to my beagles coat. He weighs ~40 lbs and he gets 3/4th a cup twice a day along with regular walks since he's on a diet. He's lost 1.4 lbs in the past week too! Oh, and I'd recommend planning to feeding your beagle dry dog food only (NO pleople food or soft treats). If you really want to feed your pup something from the fridge, carrots are ideal since they also clean their teeth.

ANSWER: My beagle can't wait to get in the water. Now, let me clarify. We take him boating every weekend during the summer and he can't wait until the boat is anchored so he can get in the water and sit on his mesh raft. He will sit out there for hours at a time. He does not like to swim too much though. He is pretty lazy so he enjoys just sitting in his old mesh raft most of the time.

I have had my beagle for five years i sometimes find dog hair around the house but not much. remember that their hair is short and so they dont shed much

Well a healthy beagle is about 30lbs at adulthood and a dachshund as an adult usually weighs anywhere from 6-10lbs. So I would guess about 12-20 lbs.
