Is it possible to get pregnant after being off birth control after one day and what should i do?
Uncertain about the first part-I do believe it is a very outside possibility- but as for the second part, there is an over the counter pill that will prevent pregnancy for a few days ( it is NOT an abortion, it is still prevention) after intercourse. I forget the name of it , ask ANY pharmacist or google "day after pill/ birth control"
If it is too late , a first trimester abortion while "it" is still only a fertilized egg and not a fetus is less controvertial, potentially less traumatizing than later.
The sooner you deal with this the better; before long it will be a question of adoption or raising "it" or a more and more controversial later-trimester abortion- wherein it will be a fetus and the open argument of whether or not you are taking an actual life becomes more murky and problematic. After a certain point , all laws and science says its a life- it varies when, but after several months, its hard to obtain an abortion and is largely frowned upon.
In my PERSONAL opinion, you are not only doing nothing wrong, but are in the right to not bring another unwanted person on this earth-- as long as you act VERY soon. I also believe god loves you and me too - take care - email me if youd like : CrackedVinyl@gmail
Is it better to get the shot or the pill birth control?
It is best to use what you and your doctor believe will work best for you. Both have side effects, both have good success in preventing pregnancy.
Depo Provera is concidered long term protection, many women have a 12 or more month delay in ovulation after just 1 injection. If you think you may want to become pregnant in a few months - DP is probably not for you. If you want to know there is almost no chance of conceiving for the next year, DP may be more convenient than a daily pill.
If you know you will remember to take your BCP every day - BCP have been highly successful for the last 50 years.
Is a 9 yr old to young to be on birth control if not sexually active?
These days I don't think it's ever to early! I'm pretty young myself and I wish I would have been protected alot earlier just to be on the safe side but i would make sure to tell her the benefits of waiting!
Yes, she is too young. There are several things wrong with this question. The first is that a 9 year old shouldn't be having sex and if she is it is sexual abuse by the person having sex with her. The person who is having sex with her needs to be reported and arrested. She is a child. The next thing wrong is at 9 she shouldn't have reached puberty yet. If she has, then, the use of the pill should come a doctor's consultation and meet a medical need.
What can a teen expect to experience in a birth control visit?
During a birth control visit, a teen will be interviewed regarding medical history, sexual history, and other health issues. There will be a review of available methods and a discussion of what the teen is looking for in terms of family planning. STD testing will be offered. An exam is not needed to start birth control in most cases.
Is it bad when you are on birth control and you get your period?
If you have been taking this particular birth control prescription for some time and you begin menstruating, it may be that the prescription you have contains a number of placebo tablets, (tablets which contain nothing), simply to help remind you to keep taking your tablets every day.
It may also be possible that you're experiencing what is referred to as 'spotting.' Spotting is a natural occurrence which can be more of an irritation to your social life than an indicator that there's anything wrong.
Measure when was your last period and when it ended and note when it has begun again. Period cycles, in general are 28 days. But they can vary, depending on age, anywhere from 21 days and up to 45 days (depending on age),
For now, if this is the first experience, do not be concerned, but chart your periods for a while. Continue taking your current tablets as prescribed, even if there are placebos in-between. Your body may be adjusting to the tablets.
It's also possible that this particular birth control tablet is not suitable for you. Even if you have been taking them for some time, your body can adjust and require an alternate.
If this persists for more than two cycles, then consider seeing your health care provider, or visit where you obtained your prescription. There is always the rare possibility that it could be signs of something that can easily be corrected.
What are the risks of taking Male Enhancement Pills?
What are the risks of taking male enhancement pills?
In general, there are common risks with taking the male enhancement pills just as many other types of supplements and drugs. Alongside common risks pertaining to negative side effects, other not-so-often talked about risks are addiction and co-dependency.
Some men may actually believe that they can only perform well under the influence of the pills. As such, they may instead develop their own erectile dysfunction by maintaining this distorted belief. Meanwhile, if someone becomes too dependent on these types of medication and supplementation, other physical symptoms may disrupt their day to day life. These disruptions may include congestion, constipation, heart palpitation, dizziness and headache, upset stomach, and many others.
In order not to become dependent or even addicted to the male enhancement pills it is important to learn to change your habits so that you may decrease the chances for erectile dysfunction. You need to think of the male enhancement pills as simply an assisting tool for your self-transformation towards a healthier life and not a tool that fixes all your sexual dysfunction issues. That way, when the time comes for you to lessen the intake of these pills you will not have such a hard time.

Dear Reader; Yes since the effects of the pill linger. If there is no change at a month it is suggested to check with your health care provider. Dwight
It depends where you buy them and how many you buy. In general the more condoms you buy the cheaper each one is. I have seen them from around 15 cents apiece if bought in bulk to about $2.00 each if bought individually out of a vending machine.

Do placebo pills prolong your period?
Placebo pills have no effect on your period at all. A placebo itself is nothing more then a sugar pill, it contains absolutely NO medication of any kind. In a birth control pack the placebo pills are used strictly to keep you in the routine of taking the pill everyday.
Answer
No. Placebo pills have no effect on your cycle at all - they are simply a reminder to you to keep taking a pill at the same time every day. The bleeding you have while on BCP is actually not a period. It is withdrawal bleeding in response to your hormone levels dropping while you are not taking active BCP.
You can take the inactive pills or skip them completely, as long as you remember to start using your active pills again at the end of the week.
The way women use BCP to skip a period that is coming at an inconvenient time is to toss out the inactive pills and start using the new packet of active pills without skipping a day. This with your doctors or health care provider's OK.

How do you control overreacting with boyfriend troubles?
When/If you become upset about something walk away and think about things and don't go back until you have calmed down and be open minded and think about things from your side and his. Overreacting is a form of jealousy, loss of control when you want to be in control and petty anger. Trying to control your anger is another way to deal with this. If you find you are having problems with this you can seek counselling or go to an anger management course they are helpful. Also, think of the time you are wasting arguing over something petty when you can be happy - it really isn't worth it as well as your behaviour can lead you to losing boyfriends.
Can sex at a young age prevent pregnancy in the future?
There is no evidence to support such an assertion, and ample evidence that such activity is injurious to normal, psycho-social and psycho-sexual development. Unprotected sex, even in girls who are not exhibiting outward signs of puberty, runs the risk of pregnancy. Girls who are exposed to sexual activity when they are very young, are especially prone to grow up unable to have stable relationships, and frequently exhibit reckless promiscuity. Such women tend to have children from more than one father, and often leave many failed marriages in their wake. Even if early sexual activity could be shown to be means of preventing future pregnancy, the emotional toll exacted on its victims would render it an unacceptable practice.
You only get your period if you take birth control?
