My boyfriend came inside of me today unprotected and I haven't taken my birth control in almost a month - Could i be pregnant?

Yes there is a high chance that you can be pregnant. When missing pills while on birth control can cause pregnancy, a month without birth controls will not protect you from pregnancy at all. A pregnancy test should be taken.

Can you get pregnant on your week off from birth control?

Yes, skipping pills in the last week of a pack is likely to drop your hormone levels that are suppressing ovulation - when this happens you are very likely to conceive if you are sexually active.

It is imperative that you use another form of BC at this time if you wish to prevent a pregnancy. Depending on what pill you are taking you may be able to start your next packet of pills without taking the week of inactive pills - ask your doctor or pharmacist if this applies to the brand you use.

How do you know if your pregnant early on?

Try a pregnancy test from the pharmacy, and if you are still unsure, look up a sexual health wellbeing clinic (often free for youth) and they can give you a urine or blood test to check. A few notes: 1. Yes you can get pregnant at a very young age. 2. It is possible that the stress of thinking you may be pregnant will prevent you from having your period at the regular time.

What are the side affects to stopping birth control pills?

i would say no because you will have to keep taking it at the normal times for to be effective. so if you don't want to get pregnant and don't wish to continue your pills use other forms of contraception. condoms spermicides etc.

Answer #2:

It is very important to take your pills regularly; otherwise you're likely to feel like you've got MEGA PMS. That said, if you stopped and realize now that you do want to be on the pill, yes, you can start all over again, just like you did the first time.

Use other contraceptives in the meanwhile.

And, the next time you stop having sex, don't get off the pill. If you stopped the pill previously because the side effects were too much, go back to your doctor and ask for another brand and/or formulation. If you tell your doctor what your side effects were, they can look up what other brand of pill might work better for you.

Enjoy!

Why environment should be protected?

Can the IUD be pushed out of its place?

You should never remove an IUD yourself. A medical professional will be able to remove an improperly positioned IUD, though if it isn't in a harmful place, often they will leave it as surgery is more invasive than the device. If you're concerned because of pain, go see your doctor. If you're concerned because of the way the strings feel or their length, your doctor can trim them for you as well.

Can you take birth control pills for 2 weeks to start an early period?

Yes you can do. But the problem about this is your putting yourself at risk of pregnancy and also messing up your BCP cycle. BCP gives your body a regular period cycle evey four weeks. If you miss pills your put yourself at risk of pregnancy and also lower the amount of hormones stopping you from getting pregnant and also messing up your cycles. But the choice is yours hun. If you do miss pills, then use a condom for a week. Every pill you miss you need to use a condom for a week. Do this and you should be protected against pregnancy. If you miss two weeks worth of pills, then your have to wear a condom for a month to prevent pregnancy. Good luck and recommend me if Ive helped you.

What type of birth control method is 100 effective?

No- the only 100% effective method, unfortunately, is abstinence. Combining birth control pills/condoms/spermicide would *greatly* reduce the chance of getting pregnant, but there's still a small chance you could.

You know, I actually had this happen to me and the answer is yes! The reason why you might have started early could be stress in your life, or a change in hormones. After having protected sex then taking off the condom after coming and reentering can you get a girl pregnant?

Absolutely. The condom is filled with millions of sperm that can get out of the condom if it's left inside her. That's why you should withdraw immediately after ejaculation; otherwise, as you "shrink," the condom can slip off, exposing her to pregnancy risks and to any sexually transmitted diseases you have.

Could you be pregnant if you are 2 months late for your period and you have light brown thick discharge for 5 days then bleed for an hour then have light pink discharge 2 days husband had vasectomy?

From my understanding a vasectomy is not 100%, just as a "tubal" is not 100%. My suggestion would be to get a home pregnancy test and find out what it reads. Good luck for whatever result you are looking for:)

What should you do if you miss the pill?

If you lost a "placebo" or "reminder" pill, don't worry - there's no need to eat those.

On the other hand, if you lost an active pill, do the following:

  • "Steal" the last active pill from the pack and take it as soon as possible. If you're not taking it on time, use a back up method for the next 3-7 days, depending on how late and the type of pill you're on. (This is fine to do even if you're on a pill with two or three different colors/doses.)
  • Take tomorrow's pill on schedule tomorrow as usual.
  • When you get to the end of your pack, you'll be short a pill, and your "reminder pills" or "period week" (and possibly your withdrawal bleeding) will start a day ealier.
  • Most importantly: Start your new pack a day earlier than you otherwise would have. It's important that you don't have longer than a seven-day span without an active pill. Starting after eight pill-free days will increase your risk of pregnancy.

If you aren't sure how to use the sticker in your pill pack to change the "day of the week" label to match your new start day, call your health care provider or pharmacist.

If you missed13 days of birth control can you get pregnant?

Yes you can still get pregnant, but it really depends on what method you used what the chances of that happening are. For instance if you used a condom and it didn't break, slip off, or spill after withdrawing then you have a very low chance of being pregnant. Condoms when used correctly are very efficient. But if you used a method like withdrawal then you have a higher chance of being pregnant, again depending on whether the method was used successfully. I hope that helped :)

The birth control patch, like the pill and the ring, can increase the risk of heart attack and stroke. These may rarely result in death. A young woman is more likely to die from getting pregnant and delivering a baby than from using combined hormonal birth control.

Most condoms are electronically tested to be free from any puncture and leakage. However one must follow simple rules to use them so that there are no slippages during sex. One thing to remember is that there nothing like 100% assurance in the world but yes all condoms are for safe sex. You get some extra safe condoms with few leading brands. So whenever you have sex with a condom next time don't worry about safety, if you have worn it properly.

What are my chances of getting pregnant once off birth control?

The chances of having twins is not affected by being on depo. Your chances of having twins/triplets/etc. is determined by your family history, your age, etc. Basically, being on depo does nothing to help you have twins, but if you used depo into your thirties... you have a higher chance of conceiving twins in your thirties. This may confuse some, but it is not the birth control (depo or oral) that contributed to conceiving twins, but the age gtroup that you may now be in.
I became pregnant with twins about 12 months after getting off of the shot. Becoming pregnant with twins has nothing to do with getting off the shot and having unprotected sex it, is pure genetics twins have to run on one of the parents side of the family. Twins are not purely genetic. Twins can occur when the body releases more than one egg on ovulation. I hear the chances can be high after getting off depo because the body begins the ovulation cycle again and it could release more. Very true, twins are not purely genetic at all. Yes, they can 'run in the family,' but hormones and ovulation play a huge role in twin pregnancies, especially fraternal twins.
