you can get rims for roughly between $25-$80. some are listed as"chrome", other as "silver". In reality you probably don't want real chrome, as it's too hard and slick to work well with rim brakes.
Do note that rims vary a bit in internal dimensions, and it's no guarantee that you'll be able to reuse your old spokes. Odds are that unless your current hub is really nice it'd be cheaper for you to get a whole new wheel instead of having the rim replaced.
What is an integrated headset?
An integrated headset (not to be confused with an internal headset, see below) is one in which the top and bottom cartridge bearings are pressed directly into the head tube of the frame. Integrated headsets have the advantage of a lower stack height, since the bearings are contained inside the frame, as opposed to a standard headset, which has cups pressed into the frame, with the bearings resting in those cups, above and below the head tube. A significant disadvantage of the integrated design lies in the damage that can occur to the frame if the headset adjustment becomes loose; the fork and bearings clunking back and forth can quickly destroy the frame. An improperly adjusted standard design headset will destroy the cups first, a much cheaper replacement. An internal headset is a hyrid of the two designs (just to confuse things, internal headsets are also called 'semi-integrated'). Cups are pressed into an oversized head tube, and the bearings rest in those cups. The bearings are not visible, the low stack height is maintained, and your margin of safety is maintained. We have been selling Giants with these headsets for several years without incident. These days integrated headsets are found mostly on high-end road bikes and mountain bikes from small boutique builders like Ibis. Are trax bmx bikes any good from halfords?
trax bikes are the cheapest you can get.
I would avoid them like the plague.
Never buy a bike from a garage or supermarket - go to a bike shop or get a second hand one.
What sprocket is best for haro f2?
The bike doesn't really care what sprocket it has. "Best" sprocket depends on the rider's preferences and ability. If you're spinning out and want more top speed - get a smaller one. If you're bogging down and slow off the start - get a bigger one.
How do you get mongoose rebel back gear off?
Depends on if it's a freewheel or a freehub design. For a freewheel you need the appropriate freewheel puller. For a freehub you need a splined lockring tool.
How do you take a governor off of a 197cc mini baja bike?

What does 50-406 mean on a bmx?
It's the tire size. The tire is about 50 mm(2.2") wide and high, and the diameter where the tire meets the rim is 406 mm(16").
Keep in mind that in the wonderful and warped world of bicycle standards, the inch size designation of a tire refers to the outside diameter of the rideable wheel. So if you're talking inches, it's a 20" (16"+2"+2") x 2.2 tire.
What BMX is better the GT compe or the zone?
Well me i think the GT compe is better than the zone as its more lighter you can do better stunts on it also it looks a lot more better. So there you go!
Does weight play a factor to setting tire pressure?
Only when the weight the tire is carrying changes after the tire's pressure has been set.
For example, if a large truck suddenly dumps the load it is carrying the tire pressure will decrease. Small weigh differences (like between one human and another) should have very little effect on the tire pressure.

Why can't you find Avigo Maelstrom 26 inch Men's BMX Bicycle?
I believe the bike you are looking for is a Shogun 21 Speed 26" Maelstrom MTB. These bikes I believe are no longer made, but the smaller, bmx style is. Toy's R Us are the store to look for these in the 19" and 21" flavor. But as far as your agivo, you may be out of luck, eBay may prove fruitful but I don't believe very.
NAG is a term used in BMX racing. It stands for National Age Group. At the end of the season, if you have raced in Nationals, you will get a National Age Group position for your age.
What size is your haro f1 09 bottom bracket?
A Haro F1 uses a "standard USA" bottom bracket with press-in cups (as opposed to a "Euro" bottom bracket, like what road and MTB bikes use). These bottom brackets don't come in sizes because there's only one size.
Bottom bracket spindles do, however, vary based on the crankset you're using. If you're talking about the Haro Fusion cranks that come with that bike, you're talking about a 19MM, 8 spline spindle, which is actually pretty standard.
What type of bmx is the United Recruit RN1 2010 BMX Bike?
It's a BMX racing bike for beginners. What we would call a "Junior" size (pre-teen). It's a strange mix of entry level and high end. For example, it has a hi-ten steel frame, plastic pedals and unsealed hubs, yet it has a sealed bottom bracket and a Cro-Mo three piece crank. It's a small bike as it has only a 19 3/4" top tube and an "upside down" style handlebar stem.
What is the right BMX gearing for a 12 tooth freewheel?
The right gearing for a 12 tooth freewheel won't be found in any article written by a competent and knowledgeable bike person. That's because there are other factors (variables) that must be considered when selecting gears. The leg strength of the rider, the crank length and even the length of a rider's leg and how quickly he can spin the cranks will factor in. And the course will demand some additional considerations to insure the bike is set up to give the rider an optimum shot at edging the competition. On the surface, this might not seem helpful, and it really doesn't specifically provide a number you can use to go out and get a chain ring with that many teeth on it. But if you're shorter and can spin the cranks quickly, you'll be running a tooth or two less than a taller, "slower spinning" rider. And only experience at the track or a course will allow you to "feel" what works best for your abilities and riding style. As a parting thought, many races are won and lost in the gate. This means that if you're racing, you can't run a big ring because the guys with the smaller rings will leave you at the line and you'll spend the rest of the race trying to catch them. Perhaps you have enough to now think about the problem and navigate your way to a solution that fits you.
Does a bmx bike chain have to be tight or loose?
It must be fairly tight to stay on properly and not to slap around too much.
