I think he had a hairline fracture in one of his arms too. Thankfully for Ali the fractures were only minor, however when he went up against Frazier again, he wasn't the same after that fight. Something I need to point out that when Foreman fought Ali, the latter was well past his prime; for all intents and purposes Ali was at his best in the 1960's. He would have stayed at his best, had he not been so overconfident in his ability to memorize his opponent's patterns. One of the factoids about Muhamad Ali; he was an extreme fast learner with a photographic memory, when he was a little kid in grade school he turned in nothing but A's, often getting his homework down in minutes. His Jr. High and High School teachers never forgave Ali because, despite having the academic potential he instead chose to use that photographic memory towards boxing.
