I think the question answers itself, you should immediately stop whatever you're doing to make them feel like you want them gone if you expect the keep them around.... you probably were expecting that answer... but I hope i helped anyway.

It depends on how much you loved them. Every individual is different. Actually, split-ups are like grieving for a loved one that has passed away. Grief is not just for the dead, but love lost; loss of a home due to fire or flood, etc. If you didn't care that much for the person then it would only take about 2 weeks to get over the part of being use to having them around, but if you really loved them there is just no time on grief. I'm in the same situation. It's been 3 years but I knew from the beginning how my boyfriend felt about marriage. What I would suggest is talking to him about it. First find out why he feels that way...and please post b/c I'd like to know. The whole notion doesn't make sense to me. Anyway...ask why, then tell him that since you do believe in marriage and want to be married someday, what does that mean for ya'lls relationship. Mine said he would do it because he knows that its what he has to do to be with me forever. I'm making that enough but only because there are a bunch of other reasons why he's so right for me. I would say that if he WON'T get married, you've got to decide how important marriage is to you.

I can't speak for other countries but in Denmark (Northern Europe) where I live, it's very common to live like that and people seem to be just as happy! I am very happy to be married but on the other hand, I was very happy before we got married as well. The reason we got married (apart from the fact that we love each other and want to spend our lives together) was legal matters.

If you are going to live with these men who claim they don't believe in marriage, tell them that when buying a house together, having children together etc. the amount you are going to pay lawyers to legally make sure you have the same rights as married people (in case one of you should die, if you break up) will exceed the price of a marriage by far! ;)

i believe yes. if both the ex girlfriend and the guy mutually broke up and didn't have anything against each other, then they both could still be friends after the break up.

Yes, absolutely. To carry on a relationship with anyone has a certain responsibility. You want an explaination, the other person should be adult enough to give you one. People who walk away without saying anything or giving you a chance to say anything are emotionally immature anyway and are bad at relationships. You are better off without that person anyway.

I'm inclined to agree with the other poster and feel this person could be playing games with you. However, I don't know your situation so if you feel there is something left of this relationship and you still want to go in that direction I suggest you meet for coffee and talk things out. If you want a relationship after that take it slow and easy, don't make yourself too available and make this person work for it. Don't make it easy for them to come back into your life. Also, if you are dating at the present time, still keep dating until you are convinced where this person is coming from.

honestly thats not true love. you can not be in love with two people at once. its either one or the other, i dont really think you understand what being "in love" means. being "in love" mean that you love that person soo much u dont even attempt to see anyone else or talk to anyone else. that person is your world and you would neer do anything wrong , or hurt them : for example- cheating . but yea you totally can do what you asked above but sooner or later things will come to light and the sexual stuff wont b as gud becuase that other person would b on ur mind and that will definately cause a conflict . i suggest you stick to one person.

That is really for you to decide however, he needs to take time and sort his feelings out where as you cannot put your life on hold for something that may never happen. Sometimes we have to learn from past relationships and move forward. You can wait if you love him, and also it depends on how long you guys been together for you to wait..
