That is totally up to your parents. All you can do is express your feelings to your parents. It depends on the situation. If you get along with your ex-husband and there are no ill feelings, you may be able to understand that he was part of the family and loves your parents. It's hard to give up people you truly care about because of a divorce. If you want to socialize outside of your home and your husband refuses to go then go out with friends for lunch; church meetings; volunteer your time and, you can always invite friends over for an evening and your husband will have to deal with it as most wives deal with making plans to see friends anyway. You cannot force anyone into a sexual relationship and in some cases if someone has diabetes, heart disease or medications they can cause low libido and you can discuss this with your doctor on your own time. God never expected partners to stay together if that partner was in good health, but refused to cooperate or was physically or verbally abusive and each partner has to have their needs met so divorce is not a sin if that has to be the end result for you. God teaches us all lessons in life until we get it right.
