I think you should just talk to him about it. I'm going through the same thing. Sometimes I feel like I'm falling out of love with him but when I'm with him everything is fine and I don't know how I could ever think that. Just talk to him about it. It is said that it takes 5 years to stop thinking of someone you were strongly linked to - so I would advise if you cannot make the relationship work you really need to make a clean break to allow yourself healing time. When you hit rock bottom and feel that life and love will never work out- believe me it will. Time is the greatest healer, there are no quick fixes but look to fill your thoughts and time with positive things like friends and take up one new thing that you have always thought about doing but never got the chance. This is your only shot at life - don't waste it - embrace your learning curves and turn them into positives. If you are young, the heart rules the head and this is something everybody experiences at least once - my big no no to you is to stay friends with the person that hurt you, it will delay the healing process and prevent you from moving on in your life. Usually men (or women) that act in this manner are controlling and I am sure when you walk away he will try with all his might to get you back. Stay away!
