Why are conservatives so anti BBC?
It's one of most subversive elements in UK society. I left the UK two years ago, and the BBC was one of the reasons I left. Biased, lying, ultra-left wing. A cancer. Orwellian. I'd simply had enough.

Funny that- an embittered ex-pat who hates Britain, presumably, and blames it all on everyone else. He or she is obviously far right-wing because if left-wing he/she would accuse the BBC of being right-wing! The BBC is hated only by a few politicians and newspaper-owners or commercial-broadcasters, and simply for its independence from Government and commerce. Though it's not perfect, it does and indeed has to, try to be fair and neutral, but worse perhaps to its critics, it asks the sort of probing questions that politicians and certain business types hate and fear being asked.
