There are many different categories of vehicles, such as large sedans or small SUVs, so it would not be possible to pick the one best-rated vehicle. However, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (www.iihs.org) has picked the best-rated vehicles for many different categories. The best-rated large cars include the Ford Taurus and the Buick Lacrosse; the IIHS rates the Audi A3 as one of the top midsize cars. The 2011 Toyota Sienna is the highest-rated minivan, while the Dodge Journey and Lexus RS are some of the top-rated midsize SUVs.
You don't. I tried, and it is a pain in the backside. You have to take half the dash apart, on the right side. I won't buy another one like this.
6 and 9.

A GM TSB (technical service bulletin) back in 2006 said that it was not unreasonable for my 2005 LaCrosse 3.8L V6 to consume one (1) quart of oil every 2,000 miles. Mine actually used 1 Qt every 1,300 miles and after fighting the local GM people at the dealership for eight months, they finally replaced the valve guide rod seals under warranty. I had a beautiful new car that disappeared behind a cloud every time you started it up after it had set for several hours. GM said I should have just kept adding oil and driving it...it would run fine for 100,000 miles under those conditions. GM dealerships are hateful when it comes to doing warranty work. Six months after the repair, another dealership had to replace the cat converter (also under warranty) after it failed (engine wouldn't go above idle)...probably from all of that consumed oil running through the exhaust. VW was the best for doing warranty work promptly and with a smile...GM will push you to the brink of assault.
First pry the lens out of the housing, remove the adjuster assembly and unplug the wiring. Carefully pry back the interior trim a the upper corner of the door ( you might find that you are unable to achieve adequate access without removing the entire door panel) there is a spring clip centered in the trim piece. Using an offset 10mm ratcheting wrench, unscrew the three nuts, the mirror is now dismounted.
According to the TSM for the lacrosse there is a sensor that will increase the power steering at low speeds to have greater steering capability. When it increases in speed the power steering lets off to make the wheel "tighter" feeling.
If you are looking to get it "reduced" there is probably an issue with the sensor or the power steering system. cheapcurrent.com
