Where is the oil filter located on a 1994 Saturn SC1?

Answer

It depends on which engine you have but look at the front of the engine and it is either in the front or rear under the p/s pump.

Answer

Try checking in the area on the passenger side of the car. On the 2002 it is above the controller arm. It can be a real mess to change the oil on these disaster cars. If you have the money take this one to an oil change station or your local mechanic. The headache and the potential drops of oil on your driveway are not worth it.

How do you reset the security system on 2002 Saturn vue?

How many miles is a Cadillac cts good for?

It depends on your driving habits. If the car is serviced as required and the oil changed every three thousand miles, and if the car is driven under normal circumstances, the answer is only as long as you take care of it. I have done this with cars that I own that have over two hundred thousand miles and running strong. Your question is your own answer. Of course I live in the south with no snow or ice treatments that can destroy the car before its mechanical failure.

How do you change the pollen filter on a Cadillac CTS?

Open hood. Remove weathstrip at the wiper cowl, starting at the passenger corner, near the windshield. You'll only need to remove it halfway, should come right off. There are 3 small screws along the plastic cover. They are 7 mm. Remove them. Remove the black plastic piece. Stick both hands into this open area, which you can't see down. Feel for the sides of the plastic lid and you should feel two tabs, Pry them out and up to remove the lid. Wiggle the cover out of the hole, but remember how it came out. Now reach back in, and remove the filter, which will need to be squeezed together, again remember how it came out. Take new filter, look for an arrow, some have it some don't. That points towards the cabin. Put filter in same way came out, might have to squeeze together like an accordian and you'll have to angle the bottom of it towards the back of the car to seat it in it's channell. You'll now when its in caused it should stay flush with the plastic tabs on the top. Put lid back on, making sure it snaps on, put plastic cover and screws back in,and weatherstrip. Good luck in can be a challenge since you can't really see down there.

Cadillac cts won't run after oil change?

Check your Air Filter connection. Many times if you go to the shop to get your oil changed they will also check and see if you may be in need of a air filter. Sometimes they forget to tighten the hose connected to the Air Filter, which could cause the car not to run. It might start, but will not stay running!

How do you change a light bulb from a Cadillac CTS?

This question is too general but will provide an answer to the rear light on 2007 CTS (which I presume is the same for all current models). The nuts needed to be unscrewed are accessed behind the body panels in the trunk. The body panel can be pulled away by unscrewing the tie downs (black plastic knobs) and moving the cover from the spare wheel well. Note: be careful unscrewing the nuts so they aren't dropped. Although the void in the rear corner is not deep, you will may have to clear some other components bolted to the body in order to get your hands into the void. Once the nuts are removed, the rear light cover can be pulled away from the body. The bulbs can be accessed once the cover is pulled away from car body.

Where is the transmission fluid dipstick located on a 2003 Cadillac CTS?

There is no transmission dipstick. Check fluid level by removing the inspection plug on the left side of the transmission. Only check fluid level with engine running otherwise fluid will overflow through the hole since fluid accumulates in pan with engine off. Normal level is to the top of the port. Also, if you have the automatic transmission on your 2003 CTS, there is no way to check the fluid level. See your owner's manual.
