What clever names for photography studio?

You may be really good at photography and you have a huge collection of cameras, lenses and other accessories, but then for some reasons you decide to start your own business, a business as photographer. In this case, it may be hard for you to think of a name for your new business and you start thinking that you are not very clever and maybe you do not have a clever mind. Do not worry, maybe it is not something you were born with, but there is a solution for that.

Will the Pentax AF420z flash gun work on the Pentax K100D super?

We could find no information on the Pentax AF420z flash. However the other AF series flashes work when mounted on a Pentax Auto-focus SLR (after the Z-10 and including Digital models) equipped with an FA-, FA J-, DFA- or DA- series lens.

Our primary camera is a K10D with the AF540FGZ flash to supplement the built-in flash. It is an excellent unit, as is the smaller AF360FGZ. Of the two, for general use I would choose the 360 because its lighter weight would put less strain on the hot-shoe mount and it adds less to the weight of an already hefty camera.

Where should you get your digital camera from?

This depends on three main things: your budget, what you are using it for and finally personal taste.

If you are referring to brand names then I would recommend Canon personally but these are some of the other options:

If you are buying an SLR then I would definitely recommend Canon and Nikon as they are good quality and affordable. Pantex are also a good brand, however they tend to be more expensive. SLR's tend to be more expensive and a used professionally, though you can, like me, just have it as a hobby.

Both Canon and Nikon also so great digital, compact and bridge cameras. These tend to be cheaper though are still great cameras.

If you are refering to shops then I would recommend BestBuy, Jessops, Amazon or the camera brands own website (if they sell them directly). Hope this helped!

If you plug in you flip video camera into your computer will it charge?

In most cases when you attach any electronic device to your computer using a USB cable, it IS so that it can charge. In many other cases you will be able to do more with this connection, such as transfer files (video, pics, audio), edit contact lists (as with cell phones), and/or access online applications. What you can, and can't, do will be described in the manual of your device. If a USB cable has been included with this device it is safe to say you are on the right track.

If you can't find the manual, or never had one, go to Google (link is attached) and type in the brand name, model # and kind of device, and Manual. (For example. . ."Motorola Razor, V3xx, Cell Phone Manual"). You will be provided a list of links to your manual.

What does it mean to have shutter lag?

Shutter lag is the time from when the shutter is triggered (pushing the shutter button) until the time the image is recorded.

In professional cameras the shutter lag is far less than consumer cameras. Some professional cameras will take 6 to 8 frames per second when triggered by hand.

Consumer cameras vary from about a tenth of a second to 2 seconds of shutter lag.

Are pinhole cameras legal to use?

Not only are pinhole cameras entirely legal to use, they can be fun to build and use.

Making and using a pinhole camera uses all of the really important principles of photography. Any serious student of photography should do just that. Apart from the satisfaction of having a picture that you can say you created all by yourself, it will teach the principles in only two or three hours.

What do you do at age 13 yrs old when you feel ugly because you have a really big nose and a reddened face in photographs?

If teenagers only knew that almost all teenagers feel "ugly" and don't feel confident. I recently talked to the most popular kid in my class from grade school to high school, back in (well, we'll skip mentioning the year). The girl wore THE most fashionable, popular brand new clothes, shoes, boots, coats, purses, etc. She hung out with all the other "rich girls". We thought she had everything: beauty, looks, clothes, makeup, boys... But despite her beauty and possessions, she told me she'd been really unhappy the whole time. She thought she was ugly and hated herself. Her home life wasn't great either, but she never mentioned it in school. Her mom was a drinker; her dad deserted the family. Her mom's family had money-- but the girl felt lonely, and felt trapped when at home.

For every teen worried whether their noses are too big, the rest of the class worries about having crooked teeth, pimples, childhood scars, etc.

For every girl who hates the shape of her eyes are boys who hate the shape of their jawline.

For every boy who thinks he has too big of ears, others think they are too short or too fat all over their bodies.

For every boy worried about the size or length of his penis, there are an equal number of girls convinced their breasts are too small / too big, and both sexes worry their bodies aren't developing fast enough.

I wish I could convince you that in a few years, it won't bother you as much as it is now. I wish you could believe me that by the time you graduate from HS that it won't matter whether your nose is too big, your smile isn't as bright as someone else's teeth, or whether your feet look too big. You will grow into accepting yourself just as you are--which is good.

One day you'll look in the mirror and say, "Hey, I'm really kinda pretty!" You'll like your skin, your hair, your features, etc. much more than you like yourself at age 12-15. You'll feel more confident. And you'll know, everyone feels insecure. We all have bad days... and eventually, many more days when your looks just aren't as important! You are you. You are unique.

And... many of us cringe at our pictures. Red blotches, that huge pimple (well, it looked huge on my face!), yucky smile, no dimples, bad hair... we've all picked ourselves apart endlessly, whether in the mirror or seeing ourselves in pics. If you want to have a laugh, check out some HS photos from the 1980s-- now that was ugly hair!

Relax hon... you're okay just how you are!

What is urban photography?

Urban photography is similar to street photography in that it takes place in an inner city environment but it differs from street photography in that it may or may not have people included in the image. Urban photos often take buildings, or rather the urban landscape itself as the main subject and if people are included in the picture is it is incidental. Street photography on the other hand takes people as the main subject.

How do you turn on the light meter on a asahi pentax kx camera?

The metering system is always on on the K-series cameras. If your needle is not moving you need to replace the battery. The lens cover should be left on when the camera is not in use to preserve the battery, although the old style photocell draws very little current as the needle is the only thing it moves. The rest of the system is mechanical.
