Shane Gray, played by Joe Jonas, is in a band along with Nate and Jason[Nick and Kevin]. While the band is filming a video, Shane storms off and is sent to Camp Rock to be one of the famous singing instructors. While there he overhears Mithcie singing, but does not see her. Shane falls in love with her voice, but cannot find the girl. Finally when he does they fall in love.
