a typical steel "30 pound" liquid propane tank weighs about 25-28 pounds empty.

propane tank markings (on collar)

propane weighs about 4.125 pounds per gallon and a "30 pound tank" will

hold about 7.5 gallons so a full tank will weigh about 55 pounds or so.

Typical recertification stamp:

MM XXX YY E

MM -> 2 digit recertification month

XXX ->3 character Re-qualifier's registration number

YY -> 2 digit recertification year

E ->States the cylinder has been externally examined

WC -> Water capacity of the cylinder.

TW -> Tare weight of the cylinder (what the tank weighs empty)

ICC, DOT, BTE, CTC or TC -> Specification number eg. TC4BA240

10 89 -> Date of manufacture (October. 1989)

You can re-order them from the factory at 800-775-1965. Tell them your tent model number and the parts you need. I believe the tent pole part numbers are CPOL-392BL and TPOL-428RD but they will be able to verify.

A forest is an expanse of naturally-growing trees of various species, along with plant and animal life that form an ecosystem. A park is a natural or semi-natural area for people to visit; it may or may not have trees or forests within it, and if entirely man-made, may not have a fully functioning ecosystem.

Depending on the nature of the damage there isn't a good way to fix tent poles. Generally if they are bent, you can bend them back into shape, although they sometimes lose their structural integrity, making them susceptible to bending again in the future. Your best bet is to go to a gear shop and replace them altogether.

Minimal impact camping is when you go camping, hiking, hunting, or any other outdoor activity, particularly in wilderness areas, where you leave no evidence of your ever having been there. That mean leaving no trash, picked flowers, damaged landscape or other human residue, physical or otherwise behind. In other words, leave it as you found it!

It really depends on the person. Some people like it and some people hate it. If you are a very outdoorsy person you probably will really enjoy it if you are a couch potato you will probably hate it.

Canvas, polyester or water proof cotton for the exterior. They are usually filled with down feathers or polyester fiberfill. They are temperature rated so select the one that best fits your needs. You wouldn't want a light weight one if you are camping in the mountains in the winter and you wouldn't want a heavy one if you are camping in the desert. Sleeping bags for kids will be made of a fire retardant material to protect your child in the event the unthinkable should happen.

To set up a Greatland Model 15585 Tent with Rain Fly, unroll the tent and lay flat with the door facing the assembler. Connect the long pole segments that are held together with elastic cord. Insert the pole in the loops from right to left. Then use the stakes provided to lash the tent to the ground on each side. Repeat for the back. The rain fly is attached to the poles using the Velcro straps provided.

A camping trailer is in reference to a pop up camping trailer. I travel trailer would be a tow behind trailer that stays up all the time, and a Fifth Wheel trailer is a larger trailer that is both pulled and part of it is connected in the bed of your truck.

There are many different places someone can purchase outdoor tent toys. Stores like Walmart, Target and Dicks Sporting Goods would all sell outdoor tent toys.

These large pitches measure 10m x 8m overall and are ideal for families or anyone wanting to spread out a bit. They are on flat ground, include an electric hookup and have a lovely unobstructed view of the marina. The pitch provides ample space for a tent with maximum dimensions of 6m x 6m (20' x 20') including guy ropes plus a car and a gazebo or open space. At 8m x 6m overall these pitches provide enough space to accommodate comfortably a tent up to 4m x 4m (13' x 13') including guy ropes, together with a car. The pitches are on generally level ground and overlook the marina. These pitches measure 8m x 8m and slope slightly at one end. Depending on your tent layout, a size of up to 5m x 4m (16'6" x 13') can be accommodated, with your vehicle parked on the gently sloping part, or 8m x 4m (26' x 13') if you don't mind part of the tent sloping a little. The pitches all overlook the marina. Our '2 man' tent pitches measure 6m x 6m, giving enough space for a small tent and a car. They are on flat ground next to the marina and have electric hookup if required (at extra cost). This huge pitch measures 20m x 10m (66' x 33') and is ideal for a small group of 3-5 tents where customers wish to make up their own layout. It features 2 electric hookups and has loads of space to spread out. All of our camping pitches will accommodate tents up to the maximum size listed in the table below, with a minimum 3m gap between tents on adjoining pitches. The 3m spacing is required by law for fire safety and it is up to you to ensure that you pitch your tent in such a way as to ensure that the safety gap is not compromised. Be sure to have the part numbers for the item you are ordering: they supply branded camping supplies for a number of brands including Walmart's Ozark Trail, Broadstone, and Northwest Territory. My swift shade set does not have a part number listed for the fabric canopy, just the support frame pieces. No idea if they can replace it, or at what cost.

You could go back to the shop where you bought your tent and get some there or Halfords :)

Camping is only bad for the environment if the campers are negligent with their duties to keep the camp areas clean. Some common problems from negligent campers are: litter, chemical emissions (from throwing random junk in the fire), CO2 emissions (Kind of unavoidable, but it can be limited), forest fires, and damage to plants and terrain.

It's the size. It would be feet if it was large, remember a ruler is only 12 feet.

The onesie long sleeve is similar to a regular long sleeve shirt except it has an extension below the waist, with Velcro or snaps which close over the crotch. This type of clothing is used primarily for toddlers for easy access to the diaper. Stores which have this type of clothing would be clothing outlets or even stores more targeted towards babies.

It's a personal preference. It can also depend on where you're staying. I camp in the Appalachian Mountains (West Virginia area) and I like June the best to go camping. You could also pick a weekend out of each month to go camping and decide which one's your favorite.
