She didn't love him. She didn't know him and she married John Rolfe and left for England before Smith arrived. She was held hostage by the colonists for 4 years and changed her name to Rebecca. She died in England at about age 19 and had given birth to a baby boy.

He also made up the story about Pocahontas and she died young so couldn't refute his story. The man who did save Jamestown was the husband of Pocahontas and gave tobacco seeds to the colony. YES. The answer is yes. Native American girls by rule were naked from ages 0 to 12. Pocahontas was 12 when the White Settlers took over. She was 100% naked from head to toe when she met John Smith and the millions of other European settlers. At age 12, the most beautiful little girl in the Powhatan tribe moved in with the White Settlers. Always stark naked, she would entertain the White Settlers with her naked cartwheels and her tight perfect little body. Being the only girl and Native American in the entire group of White Men by the millions, she would participate in thousands of gangrapes and gangbangs with the White Men. He wasn't important. The story goes he landed and save the colony. Not true. He lied in his book and was hated in by the men in the fort. To get rid of of him gunpowder was sprinkled on him and lit. He suffered severe burns and to go home to England.

John Smith never married Pocahontas. In fact, Pocahontas is only a nickname given to Matoaka meaning playful. When John Smith visited the Powhatan tribe he actually was treated very well. Matoaka was about 11 years old at the time. When Pocahontas was 17, she was abducted and imprisoned in Jamestown for a year. She was released after she agreed to marry John Rolfe. They had a son Thomas Rolfe and Matoaka, then known by the name of Rebecca Rolfe, died at the age of 22 in March of 1617.

Unfortunately it seems that no-one had recorded what John Smith's epitaph said. His monument has been mostly restored, however, the text that was originally on it has been worn away and is now lost.

Yes he was the oldest son, but I don't know how many sibblings he had. (really hard to find!!) To this day do not know!
