if you have them indoors they will be fine at a temperature you are comfortable in. outoors (in a shed) you can use a heat lamp above the cage. be carefull not to let the heat lamp touch anything flammable. and your mice need a nest to stay warm. lint, tissues, scraps of cloth, yarn... they are very adaptable! good luck!

I was cleaning out a garbage bin, and their were 2 baby mice. I am assuming around 2 weeks. They have fur but their eyes are still shut. The simply will not eat, I am giving them baby formula, I tried the paint brush and a dropper. But they won't eat. My heart is breaking, I just want to help them so badly. I hated the idea of them being alone. It's because they are not eating but they are pooping and peeing often :S please someone help me!

They can eat anything we can eat but you can kill them if you give them soda ie cola orange soda ect they have a tendancy to chew alot which may seem like they eat anything

i never tried it before but i do not thing you can give it rice milk. why don't you give it evaporated milk.you boil the milk and cool it down to make evaporated milk.GOOD LUCK!

A little bit of rice milk will not harm a mouse but a lot can harm them since they cannot burp of cough. But i agree, evaporated milk is much safer to use.

No, they won't chew and swallow it, but they may nibble at it. Just ask my PEW, Bree Bear who thinks she's a hair-dress. She will pick up my hair and nose it around and nibble it, but no actually EAT it.

Yes, female mice do get too old to have babies. After they are 1 1/2 years (mice only live for about 2 years) they would be too old because the females hip start to get smaller so it is harder to have a baby. You can breed mice when they are 10 weeks old, but you should do some more research.

it is more likely for adult male mice to attack baby mice if there are two male mice. There have been studies done showing that when mice receive sunlight, the males will not kill/eat the babies. You should place your mice in a room that gets plenty of natural light. Pick them up by using three fingers (thumb included) to gently pick them up by the BASE of their tail (if you pick them up by the end of their tail, it hurts them and their tail may break off). Handle them quickly and DON'T get nervous or hover your hand over them for ages before picking them up, as this makes them nervous (speaking from experience here).

Place them on the palm of your hand, and keep GENTLY holding their tail if you're worried you'll drop them.

if most of the mice are beautiful and unique sell them at the same price as petco. if there are more of one gender sell that gender at a lower price than the other gender. the price has to be around the price of petco's though.
