please, please take your cat to the vet (just to make sure everything is ok). & make sure you take them regularly for checkups. It will save you alot of heartache, my kitty's stomach became hard, it seems like all of a sudden, & i took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with stomach cancer. If i had taken him to the vet for his checkups like i should have been i probably could have caught it earlier so please always take your animals for checkups. On a happier note it all depends on the kitty whether its a boy or a girl, & whether this came on suddenly or not.

but i also think that people should not judge the sphinx cat on its appearances. they ae actually very lively and affectionate and can be trained to do dog-tricks as well!

Cats don't like you to try to flop them up in the air for a few reasons. Partly it disorients them and they are afraid you won't catch them, and mostly it makes their stomach heave so they feel like throwing up.

Cats instinctively try to bury their waste, but they need to learn where is an appropriate place to use to bury it. Once they have learned that a litter box is available and is appropriate, that is what they will use.

When I was a kid back in the 1960s litter boxes and litter did not exist. We used a small wooden crate filled with black top soil. The cats learned to use this. It was nowhere near as convenient for us as modern litter is, but the cats had no more trouble digging in this top soil and burying their wastes than they do with modern litter today.
