If you wanted to find them, keep "Momma Cat" held with you and depending on how many days or weeks old they are, they might smell or see her and make a noise and then you would find them. Maybe some cat spying might help. If she roams wide and far, the chances are slim they're right outside your house somewhere. Cats hide their kittens in places rarely disturbed by people and other animals that are a danger. (i.e in the crawlspace underneath a house, under or in an abandoned car, in an old junk pile in someone's backyard, etc) Time is of the essence when it comes to rescuing kittens from the dangers of being outside. Cats that sprawl out on their backs and sleep are letting their humans know they have complete trust in them. Proof of this is the fact that when you walk up on them they don't move... and their little arms and legs continue to dangle about in the air. Even the thought of my Egyptian Mau doing this makes me chuckle. I will often bend over and kiss him while he sleeps... that still doesn't disturb him. Not so sure about those cheesy fries but yes, often a cat will begin urinating in a spot used by a previous cat. To prevent this, use an enzyme based cleaner such as Petastic Stain and Odor Remover (which used to be the Nature's Miracle formula - this is essentially the original Nature's Miracle and the product that developed the high reputation of Nature's Miracle.) Petastic can be a little bit hard to find so call around to pet stores before driving all over town. It is one that definitely works though. Use according to directions and the enzymes will destroy any traces of the prior cat's markings. With any of the enzyme based cleaners it is important to thoroughly soak the area and allow the soaked area to extend a bit beyond the boundaries of the original stain. Sometimes during play they will get a little silly and claw you by accident, so give them some distance when you see them in play mode. While some people prefer to declaw their cat, I think it's fundamentally wrong. It would be like removing our thumbs. Cats instinctively need to scratch things, so their claws don't get too long. So, train your cat to scratch on only things that you approve of. (There are many cat scratching devices on the market to feed their urge to scratch)

It should also be noted that dog food does not contain things like taurine which cats require. Cats can be very picky with food, and will often not enjoy the same food twice in the same day, or even the same week! So, be sure to buy a variety of flavors and/or brands.

Adult cats enjoy sleeping a lot. And I mean a LOT! (13-16 hours per day) This is where the term "cat nap" comes from. They sleep in many different positions and places, often looking very cute or human-like! (My cat sometimes sleeps with her head on my pillow)

If you are thinking of owning a cat, I recommend getting them while they're young so you can form an early bond with them. Kittens however, have an enormous amount of energy and are infinitely curious. They require a lot of TLC (tender loving care) and a lot of attention. They grow up fast, but If you treat it properly it will grow up into a beautiful cat who will love you for all eternity.

Well I think that about covers it. In conclusion, cats are wonderful animals but not for everyone. There are cat haters out there, but I really don't understand why. I think everyone should give cats a chance, they really are wonderful animals!

If, by crying you mean that it is vocalizing, it could be in pain. If this is new behavior, I would suggest a visit to the vet. Several things could be the problem, including impacted anal glands or a urinary tract infection or blockage (which could be fatal if not treated). Make sure you are aware of any other behaviors - like frequent litter box visits, lethargy, changes in eating and drinking, etc.

First, take the cat to the vet. If there are no urinary tract or otherwise problems, place litter boxes in places where he/she should not be doing his wee-wee or poo-poo. If you can't do that (like if your cat is doing his/her business where you have to walk), make the place where he's going as unattractive as possible, and the spot where he's supposed to go as attractive as possible. Put a rug under his litterbox, and don't clean the box too often. Turn the place where he's going into a feeding station; he won't do his business near his food. Place the litterbox in a quiet, easily accessible place (young kittens and senior cats don't like going up and down stairs a lot). Remove every bit of evidence of his urine from the place he's been using (don't use cleaning products containing ammonia, they'll smell like pee to the cat and he/she will attempt to cover it by peeing again), also, you can temporarily put aluminum foil in the place where the cat's not supposed to go (they don't like the sound or feel of aluminum foil, so they'll avoid the area. Also, spraying lemon scent will repel a cat.

Cats are always trying to get our attention so the first thing to remember in teaching cats to talk is to only respond when they speak clear words. Also when you hear your cat in the other room speaking or tying to talk do not run in to cuddle them right away. Wait until they perfect a word. Sometimes they try to hide their practicing of words and when you run it they stop and pretend they were just making cat noises. Teaching your cat to talk is not as hard as you would think. They first have to want to speak. Not all cats can talk but, if you show them other talking cats and laugh when you see them you will find your cat trying to talk.

One problem we found is they say things as we do. Yes that means no matter how cute they are try not to talk baby talk to them when you are teaching cats to speak, however a cat talking baby talk is very cute. I have noticed that at times my cats talking to me in different tones now when it is just she and I. When she speaks with her daddy near or here it seems to at times be more of a grown up and serious voice. She speaks clearly yet in a child voice to me most of the time. If you want to train cats to talk you have to teach them proper wording. When you use the same words many times they learn those words faster. Every time you feed or cuddle your cat pick a word or phrase to teach them. One of the cute phrases is I Love You Mama. When your cat speaks and starts talking you will hear a difference in the tone of voice they use. They all have their own voices and all talking cats sound so cute. after listening to real talking cats you can always tell when it is a cats voice of if a person is making fake videos. cats have beautiful voices.

No.But they do eat it sometimes. My indoor cats play with the poop. It's boredom. once you give other reasons not to get bored (like more toys and bigger place to run around), they'll STOP doing that. If they don't stop even so, get a top-entry litter box. It's harder for them to bring and fling their poop about when they have to jump out of the litter box using top entry.

i have gerbils and theyve done that
