but when a cat rubs up against your legs its a cats way of saying to you "i own you" you know cats are teritorial. which is a fact......now the hissing im guessing is them telling you like....they are not playing or im serious! but ask another opinion about the hissing part. hope this helps.

first answer: Paper is not good for rabbits, especially if it is newspaper. It is the ink on the paper that is poisonous, not the paper itself.

different answer: In North America at least, the ink on newspaper is not poisonous at all. Long, long ago, ink contained lead and other toxic compounds, but that's just not true anymore. Newspapers, city phone books, and other low-grade papers are perfectly safe for your rabbit to eat. See the link below for details.

Don't give your rabbit high-gloss, slick paper, lots of bright colours, bleached white papers, etc. because these could be dangerous and unhealthy. Stick to plain newsprint and cardboard products with few colours.
