It all depends on the cat. Males and females have different personalities. Females tend to be more enthusiastic, and frisky. They may be a little more antsy about the height than males, only because of the way they show their emotions. not much different from a person haveing a hunger for core-dirt. its a meneral respondance that makes the craving take place. the result of the digesting soot for cats is similar to people eating core-dirt or match heads (it repulses insects sences and spiders when bitten).

Cats will poop on the floor if you do not train them to. If you train your cat, and it still poops on the floor, spray him/her will a spray bottle filled with water, and if they do not stop either way, they were raised the wrong way, and you will have to put down something on the floor that is noisy when you step on it, on the place they go to the bathroom.

Yes, cats are self-aware. Even as very young kittens, before their eyes open, they know their mother and their siblings by smell, so they know that they're the same thing as them. For all of their lives, they will expect certain behavior from cats, and different behavior from humans, dogs, televisions, etc.

Visual recognition of themselves usually sets in around 9-12 weeks old. Before this age, kittens will play with their reflection in the mirror, because it moves and that interests them. The mirror game gets boring when they are no longer babies and realize that the other kitty is them.

In my opinion and experiences, yes they do. My house always had a odd bad feeling to it. Mostly in the basement where there was this dark decrepid cubby hole. My cats Tigger and Midnight, both relatives of the Egyptian cats, would stand in front of this cubby hole and take turns guarding it. After 5 years of my parents living there, Tigger our oldest cat died. Then a week later, our other cat Midnight died(I think from a broken heart over Tigger). About a month later weird stuff started to happen. Lights flickering, noises from the basement, an overwhelming evil feeling everytime you were into the basement. Now a year later I know for sure my house is haunted. Now we hear voices, alot mimicking my voice or my fathers, and loud thumps on the floor sounding like its coming from the basement. I do think my cats were keeping something evil at bay down there and once they died their protection went with them. Now im sure that house has an evil poltergeist.

Spray where the cat scratches with mace, the smell will repel the cat. If you're just plain nuts, you could always spray the CAT with mace ( Don't do this unless you're s certified psycho, and even then, don't do it)
