I am a competitive cheerleading and tumbling coach and I, myself, have been a cheerleader for 2 years and I have never heard of it.
However, I think what you may be thinking about is called a Full-Twisting-Layout.
A Full-Twisting-Layout, or Full, is a back flip in a straight-body, laid out position done while twisting in a complete 360° circle.
This is an elite skill and, in competitive cheerleading, is only legal on levels 5 & 6.

That would definatley be good. Also, you should include why you being captain would be good for the whole team, not just you. Don't make it long and boring so you lose people. Add humor and talk about things that concern the majority of the people, and what you can do to fix them. Good luck!

It is somewhat fun, the instructions are not very good, and the game is VERY full of glitches. I do not recomend it as all it causes is frustration.
You Can buy a conductors baton at most band or music stores. you can buy a baton twirling baton online or at a competition. be sure to have your arm measured before you buy one. i recommend sharp baton (what i use for team routines), star baton (what i use for individual routines), or abc baton.

No! Don't let anyone tell you there's a weight limit for a sport or anything. It doesn't matter how much you weight, as long as you're good at cheering you'll make the squad. I'm the same height and have weighed between 97-120 pounds in the last 4 years, and have been told by my doctor I've always been at a healthy weight.

When are west Charlotte high school's cheer leading tryouts?
I am not sure when this question was posted but conditioning for cheerleading starts in July and tryouts are usually held once a year at the beginning of August when CMS fall sports begin. Conditioning is not mandatory but highly recommended. All participants must have a current physical and meet the CMS eligibility requirements. Tryouts typically last three days: the fist two days participants learn the material and the third day is for judging.
