yes they will but the fly window will be an issue becase the 72 has fly windows

and the 73 doesn't so u would have to drill holes in the top of the door for screws for the fly window other than that the exactly the same

look at the dash and see if it has the oil gauge , amp gauge, and temperature gauge, if it doesn't it's not a real ss.

Only Chevelle had a custom dash for the SS. Not the Nova. Nova did, however, have an optional tach, that went where the clock is. Under the hood, on the drivers side firewall, there will be a square tag, by the master cylinder. It will have a bunch of single letters, followed by two numbers. These are all you build codes. This will break down how your car came, from where, what color, motor, ect.

Is that an answer or a question? For the 77 Nova any 262-400 will be a direct swap. Big blocks can be done if you use the 396 mounts from the '68-'72 Novas. If you have an L6, swap motor mounts and a small V8 should drop right in. Of course, you'll need to modify your exhaust and a few other things. Is this what you were looking for?

Depends on what engine it has in it. Being a 72 some one could have put a different engine in it.

8 to 10 degrees BTDC. / before top dead center. 10 May be to much. If it pings and rattles are is hard to start when HOT then slow the timing up alittle.

Just tighten them down as tight as you can and then drive the car a few miles and retighten the bolts again as they will be loose after the gaskets heat up.
