Chihuahuas should not be fat at all! If they are purebred with a typical size of bone structure, they should weigh one to six pounds. Over that size they are prone to joint injuries, tracheal collapse, chronic bronchitis, diabetes, and shortened life span. Their tiny frames and hearts and lungs are not capable of carrying extra weight. To judge the appropriateness of the weight of your chihuahua: * You should be able to easily feel the ribs on their sides, but not see them sticking out too much.
* Looking at the side view, their "bottom line" should be curved up at the abdomen, rather than straight, i.e., with the tummy tucked up in the area behind the chest and ribs, rather than a straight line or bulging down in the abdominal area.
* Looking down from the top along the spine, you should see a noticeable "waist" or they will be considered overweight.

You could not do female Chihuahua male Great Dane, the size of the puppies would kill the Chihuahua in a matter of weeks. You would have to do a female Great Dane and a male Chihuahua by artificial insemination. I'm not 100% sure, but it should be possible by all means. And there is no way of determining what offspring will look like.

so basically, there's a gene/ genetic sequence in dog's brains near a gland that is like (or is) the pituitary gland. One or more mutations suppresses it, not producing as much of the hormone that makes you grow; preventing Labrador-sized Chihuahuas!
