yes it is alright ( i know from personal expireance) i had a pitbull named zorro and a chihuahua named oreo they were very good friends and had never goten ina fight. and weve had them for 4 years... but sadly we had to put the pitbull down last month because he killed a cat and bit a old ladys hand partly off and bit a 5 year old boy in the face who was with the granny . i tried to convince them it wasnt zorro's fault that he just wanted to play but.. it didnt work out. =[

You could not do female Chihuahua male Great Dane, the size of the puppies would kill the Chihuahua in a matter of weeks. You would have to do a female Great Dane and a male Chihuahua by artificial insemination. I'm not 100% sure, but it should be possible by all means. And there is no way of determining what offspring will look like.

I saw one on you tube that weighted 31 lbs it was hard for it to walk or do anything so please dog lovers lets watch out for our babies

it should be up to about 2 or 2 1/2 moths but don't put to much hair products on.

Don't know how bigger for the dog type you meant but you can find a bigger size dogs like Maltese already successfully x-bred with Chihuahua = Malchi. I actually own 1 & surprisingly smart & best of all easier to train as well as its hair is not shed badly like Maltese

One or more mutations suppresses it, not producing as much of the hormone that makes you grow; preventing Labrador-sized Chihuahuas! my chihuahua wouldn't take food or water for 3 days and on the 4th day she lost her mucous plug which looked like a tan slimy substance.. after that she continued in labor for now going on almost 24 hrs and still going.. no pushing yet. this is her 62nd day pregnant.. she is whining and contractions are hard. she should be pushing soon. (i hope and Pray).. i have had the Vet on the phone for 2 days now and its just a waiting game. she is having 6 pups by xray.
