What age does a chihuahua go into heat and how often?
Dogs are in heat for 21 days
There are three distinct stages of the heat cycle. The first one is the "Proestrus" and it is during this stage the owner will often notice the bleeding from the vulva. The bleeding itself can be slight or she can leave evidence of her condition everywhere she sits or lays. For those owners who keep their dogs in the house, many pet stores carry dog panties that hold special canine sanitary napkins to eliminate the mess. In addition to bleeding, the vulva will also swell and the dog will usually have an increase in urination. The most obvious sign to most owners are the increase in population of male dogs around their house. This proestrus part of the cycle will last between seven and ten days and the female will make it clear she wants no part of the male during this time. Unfortunately for the owner, the male dogs don't know how to take no for an answer. They will climb or dig under fences, attempt to breed through the fence if the female strays close enough and often serenade the dog and owner into the wee hours of the night.
The second stage or actual "Estrus" stage of the heat cycle will often begin between the eight and tenth day after the first sign of color (bleeding). During this time the color of the blood has gone from bright red to pink and then to an almost clear discharge. It is during this stage most females will allow a dog, in fact ANY dog to breed her. The estrus stage can last between four and seven days and it must be remembered the female can become pregnant with mixed litters. Just because you bred your purebred collie to another collie doesn't mean she can't have puppies with the Doberman next door and the German Shepherd up the street. Your best bet is to keep her confined in the house during the entire estrus cycle or take the easy way out and board her for the necessary time. If you keep her at home, you may want to purchase a crate to keep her in.
If you do decide to breed your dog, she will show her willingness to be bred by "flagging" whenever you scratch the area directly above her tail. By flagging, she will actually stand still and lift her tail up and out of the way. For those breeds that have had their tails docked, you will just have to wing it although a veterinarian can do a vaginal smear. Each stage of the cycle will have different types of cells appear on the slide.
The third stage of the heat cycle is the "Diestrus." This is when the female is going out of heat. During this time she will still be giving off the heat "scent" and males will still be congregating for her attentions. Once again she will be out of the mood and will snap at the males or sit and lie down when they try to mount her. The diestrus stage will last approximately seven to ten days. Once it is over, the dog will remain out of heat for approximately six to eight months.
The average estrus cycle in a dog is approximately twenty-one days and this cycle usually occurs every six to seven months. The first cycle will often depend on the size of the dog. Small breeds such, as Chihuahuas or Toy Poodles will come into heat between five and seven months. Large breeds like the Collie, Mastiff or Great Dane may have their first heat cycle at six months but it isn't unusual for them to delay until they are a twelve to sixteen months. Larger dogs develop at a much slower rate than small dogs. Becci H.

Mmmm, here's the deal. Insects can survive in water for a while because they breathe through their bodies and small bubbles of air cling to the minute hairs on their bodies. You can't get rid of fleas by submerging the animal in water, it just won't work. Not to mention air is also trapped in the animal's fur. You really need some sort of "flux" to get the air off them and poison the bugs. Shampoo for fleas is great as it also has a poison for fleas, but if you don't have any and can't get any, a good human shampoo will do in a punch and usually works if you lather up the animal, rinse, lather and rinse. It will usually kill the fleas off and they'll wash off the body with a good rinsing. Make sure to use your hands and really massage and scrub. Good luck

Sure, but before you breed, take into consideration of all the animals that are euthanized every day from overpopulation. There is no need to bring unwanted puppies into the world. And trust me, you will have a difficult time getting rid of the puppies, particularly if you're hoping to make money off of it.

How long does it take for a glofish to have there babys and how do you know?
The best way to breed Danios is to place a lot of glass marbles in the bottom of the breeding tank. Which should be no more than 18"x10"x10" and only have about 3 inches of water. You need enough marbles to completely cover the bottom of the tank The breeders should be added to the tank in the afternoon/evening when they are in good breeding condition. They should spawn the following morning. If you missed seeing them do this then have a good close look at the female and see if she is considerably slimmer. If she is slimmer remove the breeders. At spawning the eggs (ova) will have slid down between the marbles where the adult fish can not get at them so they will be safe until they develop and swim out. In a couple of days you will observe what appear to be tiny slivers of glass on the sides of the aquarium. Keep looking. They are hard to spot at first but once you see one you will then see lots.

How do you swim a good 200 freestyle?
Pace yourself! If you have zero endurance, like me, and don't know how to pace yourself, go a little more than moderate for the first 150 or so and then sprint the last 25 or 50. Also practice your flipturns, my coach told me that a good flip turn can shave 3 seconds off of your time.
IT REALLY DEPENDS, if u r swimming in long course then u don't want to swim as fast b/c u wil get tired easily but in short course u want to swim faster. The first lap get ahead of everybody and then the second lap just pace yourself but stay in front or get closer to the front (ahead of everbody) i have a lot of endurance so pretty easy for me. On thrid get a little faster, and get faster ans faster with each lap, on last 50 sprint a fast as possible!!!! i know all this b/c DAVID MARSH COACHES ME AND I SWIM AT MAC (MECLENBURG AQUATIC CLUB) MANY OLYMPIANS HAVE BEEN THERE!!!!! AND BEEN COACHED THERE TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with this answer above. Pace yourself, IN THE BEGINNING. But TRY to go a little faster each 50. So i guess you start out kinda slow but by the end youre sprinting.
A submerged swim is any swim done under the surface of the water. During early dive training in a pool the students are often asked to do a submerged swim from one side to another and gradually, that same swim is from end to end (longer distance). The idea is to build lung capacity and stamina.
