Mother sends son to a babysitter all of the time is she unfit?
She is absolutely not unfit. There are several very valid reasons for sending a child to childcare all the time. She may work and need the time for her job even if she works out of her home. She may recognize that she makes a much better mom when she has her son for quality hours instead of all the time. If the child goes to child care it is always better to keep that routine up for the child's sake.
Also, the child care may offer her son a social or educational outlet that she doesn't think she can give.
What do you have to do to become a childcare worker?
To become a childcare worker, you typically need a high school diploma or equivalent. Some employers may require or prefer a certification in early childhood education or a related field. It is important to have experience working with children and strong communication skills. Additional training in first aid and CPR may also be necessary.

Can your 14 year old son babysit your 4 year old grandson at night?
It really depends on how long he would be watching him, and how trustworthy your son is... I know I have had my 13 year old sister in law watch my son since he was 2.5, he is now almost 5, overnight. She wasn't always there by her self, but sometimes she was, and she did a great job. It just really depends on how much you trust your son with your grandson.

A babysitting circle is a group of parents who agree to take turns babysitting each other's children. The parents can use the babysitting services within the circle when they need a break or have other commitments. This arrangement allows parents to have flexible childcare options without hiring professional babysitters.

How much should you get paid for babysitting three children for two hours?
It really depends on your level of experience. If you're a more experienced sitter, you can charge more. For some advice, you can ask other people that babysit and see how much they would charge. Average what they say, and that would probably be just about right. If you don't know anyone else who babysits, then maybe you could ask your parents what they think.
How much should a 13 year old babysitter be paid per an hour for one kid?
You should really only get payed like 5 bucks an hour because you are young and have no qualifications yet.
How much money does a babysitter make an hour?
i would probably offer around 5 to 10 dollars...it also depends on who u are babysitting

The above answer seems to have been submitted by a child/teen. Babysitting, like any variable time job should require being paid on an hourly basis or on a lump sum basis that accounts for time, travel, etc.
I don't have stats, but a babysitter should get paid around $10/hour at a minimum. This would be for basic "stay at my house while my kid sleeps" services. An active sitter that runs errands, entertains, cares for well being of child should expect more as this is a skilled, specialized service.
5 bucks is well below minimum wage, and is simply ridiculous. No ones time is worth that little, especially when they are responsible for a family's child and home.
The hourly rate for babysitting varies widely. I came across one woman who wanted to pay $5.00 an hour for someone who would not only watch her kids but entertain them. I've also known babysitters who've taken care of several kids for $12-15 per hour. One resource you could check that offers upscale, background screened babysitters is http://www.elitefamilycare.com
Hi,
I saw your post and wanted to show you this tool. It's the Care.com babysitter calculator. It basically averages the pay of all the sitters in your area (by zip code) based on the number of kids.

It may be a good starting point to start negotiations!
Good luck!
I am pretty sure that the average babysitting rate in Ohio is 8 dollars.
Do you have to have a certificate to babysit?
Depends what kind of caregiver you would like to be:
ECE - Early Childhood Education
DSW- Disabled Support Worker
PSW- Personal Support Worker (also known as Healthcare Aide Worker)
Those are just a few to mention and each has varying lengths of education.
Can you babysit when you are 10?
its possible but really you have to be really good with children and have to know everything about them. also you have to check with the parents to see if you can be a baby sitter for their child. they will see is you can change a diper, feed the baby correctly, be very carful with the baby. stuff like that ya know? they also have to see if you can put the to bed correctly. does that answert your question?
** Yes, as above it is possible. There are classes that you can take that teach you the basics of infant care. There are also classes that you can take in first aid and CPR. These classes are required for being a child care provider. With your graduation from these classes you get a certificate that you can show baby parents as proof of your skills as a provider.
No, the minimum age is 12.

How old do you have to be to babysit other peoples children?
13 is the generally accepted age. However, this is just a guideline as their are many other factors to consider (age of kids being watched over, any state laws, maturity of sitter). In most cases, it is up to the discretion of the parent.
9 years old seems far too young, even for an intelligent and mature child.
Is babysitting a good job for a 12-year-old?
a twelve year old can be a baby sitter, but maybe not for people you don't know, like if you do it for your neighbours it is fine or for your parents. but otherwise it is a little bit dangerous.
