Who wrote music for the piano?
A LOT of people.
Beethoven, Mozart, Haydn, McDowell, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Schubert, Schumann, Faber & Faber, etc...even my teacher, and me myself.
As long as someone made a composition of some sort, that person is a composer, and if he/she composes a piece of music for the piano, that person is a composer for the piano.
Which means that if you play the piano and create a 10-measure piece, you are still a composer. Perhaps not wide-known, but still a composer.
F, G, and A are musical notes. In the key of F major, they represent the tonic, the second, and the third of the scale.

Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune (Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun). First performed in Paris on December 22, 1894 conducted by Gustave Doret.
Probably he is. Because his last name is Ludwig just like in Ludwig van Beethoven, and Beethoven is German so probably his roots are from germany.

List of greatest Composers of all time?
In no particular order:
Bach
Beethoven
Mozart
Handel
Tchaikovsky
Haydn
It is impossible to pick even as few as 10 greatest composers. There is an All Music website that has a list of 50, a larger list of 200, and a largest list of 500. That makes more sense.
I would add Dvorak and Gershwin to the list.
Georges Bizet was not Jewish. His father-in-law was Jacques Fromental Halévy (1799 -- 1862), born in Paris to a distinguished Jewish family. Halévy was the composer of La Juive (the Jewess) which was produced at the Paris Opéra; he was not a librettist.
