i was messing with my router settings because my xbox live wouldn't connect.

on my ipv6 menu there was like 6 choices.

---automatically obtain ip address

---use the following ipv6 address

-subnet prefix length

-default gateway

-obtain dns server automtaically

-use the following dns server addresses

-preferred dns server

-alternate dns server

before i messed with it, it had manual settings and it had ip's.

but i changed the choice to automatically obtain ipv6 address and the dns server.

so it got rid of those numbers that were originally there.

and i don't remember those numbers.

how do i get the original numbers back?

because im trying to hook up to xbox live and now it wont connect at all.

so i have a feeling its because i messed with the ipv6 settings.

so what do i do???????

UPS - Un-interruptable Power Supply - For a home computer, a UPS is just intended to give you time to save and shut down properly during a power outage. For a commercial system, a UPS may provide enough power to keep the system running until power comes back up.

Nowadays electronics uses advanced power control, it means that if it is not in use, it will not take as much electricity as when you are using it. It's especially important for laptops. It means when you are watching movie the CPU is used 100%, but when you are reading news or you went away for some time CPU reduces its frequency sometimes as much as two times which allows to save a lot of battery energy.

The download could be running slow because of two reasons.

1. There are other programs running. You need to close all programs except those that are needed for the download.

2. You have little disk space left. You need to remove any programs that you do not use.

OK this happened to me so download malwarebytes its a ant-virus software and do a full scan but be careful if you use fire fox or mozzila it will delete it and you wont be able to go on the internet again but its ok if you use internet explorer you can prevent it i think its on protection i dont know the rest but do a full scan it may take a while 2 hours for me and delete all the viruses it had 20 for me you should be good to go

You have software problems. You need to start your computer in the Safe Mode (if it works). For that you need to press F8 after the post screen. Choose "Safe Mode", after you computer starts you need to uninstall software which causes problems. Check msconfig: Run->msconfig->Startup. Also you can use the option "Load last successful version" which is much easier to use because it's automatic, but sometimes it does not work.

There are several things that could be causing it. One of the most common is that you have a virus on the computer that is blocking you access to automatic updates. Another common one is where you have an illegal copy of windows on your computer. That will also block you from some updates that are not labeled "Critical" by Microsoft. It can also be caused by a corrupted registry. To fix the virus problem I would suggest downloading the free program Clamwin http://www.clamwin.com and running a virus scan with it. Although if you know how to do it a reload would be a better option. If you have a pirated version of windows the only way to get updates is to buy a copy of windows and install it. When you write the routine for functions and sub programs and go for the main function, it is called the bottom up approach. If you do the process in reverse it is called the top down approach..

This is due to the fact that the Li-ion needs to be charged while the computer is running. The charger will input a higher voltage to charge the battery while the 19v is pushed through a buck converter on the motherboard that outputs a regulated 12v to power the motherboard. The main way the check a drive for errors is to use a disk checking utility. You can use CHKDSK or Scandisk for this.

If you are in Windows, you can go to My Computer and right-click on the drive in question and go to Properties. Then go to Tools and there should be a button that says Check Now. You would click that.

You can also use 3rd-party utilities. Your hard drive manufacturer may have a surface test utility, and it can relocate some of the sectors if necessary.

If the computer is saying that a file is in use, this usually means there is something running in the background that you may not be aware of. Logging into Windows in Safe Mode may allow you to delete the file. Make sure you have written down its complete path. If it is still running inside safe mode and still will not let you delete it, boot the computer into a command line prompt. Here you should be able to trash the file.
