A Menu, simply means 'A list of options'.

With regards to computer applications, a menu is a small list of options that you can choose to perform within the application.

For example, If you use Microsoft word, and you click on the "File" button on the top left of your screen, it will drop down a "Menu" of options for you to choose from.

Also it could be a presentation of a list of choices: It has a way for the user to pick from the choices: they may be numbered, so the user can type in the number, or maybe the user can just click with a mouse, or push the touch screen or another way.

Here's an example: an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is run by a computer software. It displays a menu after the user swipes the card and enters the PIN. {Well usually the first menu you will see is English or Spanish, which may be even before you put the card in}.

The menu items to choose from may be: Account Balance, Withdraw Money, Fast Cash, Transfer money, deposit money. These can lead to other menus to step the user through the process.

A host in a peer to peer network can offer resources to other hosts or devices in the network without being a server. If you share a printer, or a folder across the network you are sharing information or resources with other devices; in each case neither system is a server.

The ability to do this is built in to most desktop client operating systems.

3. CSVDE.EXE - command line tool to import/create the users using CSV file

4. LDIFDE.EXE - command line tool to import/create the users using LDF file (not very convenient for this).

And additionaly there exist many scripts in various scripting languages. There can be also some GUI-based tools downloaded.

It would depend on what you mean by networking. Macs play nicely with everyone. Linux/Unix somewhat and Windows not really at all. This is if you are looking at just simple network structure as in a home or small office.

If you are looking at hosting bigger and over the internet I would look at going with Mac or Linux. I am a Mac guy fully because of all the pros it has over other OS', but I run my server off a Linux box. I feel that unless you are running a whole network of Macs or need Mac specific applications on a server then most of the time your standard Linux box will do. I mostly run Linux because it is free to download and I got a PC from a friend that I did some work for. Linux is cheap and is really as solid as a Mac in most aspects. Also with Linux you can run some Windows apps that are required for Serving some things like MMORPGs. Mostly you can run a server off of anything you have. You would just need to run the server software on your PC (Linux Windows or whatever) or Mac and you should be set with few problems.

It really depends how much and where. If it is a average size cup, and you spill it on your keyboard, it should be fine just clean it and let dry. Avoid clutter, and try not to eat at your desk too often. Keep a decent sized trash can nearby, and consider investing in organizing equipment. This may be pencil/pen caddies, stacking file drawers or even a bulletin board. Keep the most important things forefront, where you can get to them quickly and easily.

Be ergonomic; have good posture while seated, be sure to have an ergonomic chair, keyboard and mouse, and refrain from staying on too long as you can develop problems like repetitive strain disorder from constant typing.
