What is the difference between an explorer and a conquistador?
A conquistador was Spanish and looked only for riches and power. A conquistador had 3 Gs: gold, God, and glory. Gold for riches, God for converting people to Catholicism - since the majority of Spaniards, including royalty were Catholics (and still are) at the time - and glory for power. An exploerer could be from any country and had motivations which were diverse and might include scientific curiosity, personal fame, or they were on a mission from their host country to explore new land and claim it. Conquistadors are gone now, but we still have explorers.

What did the Aztecs do when Cortes and the conquistadors came?
The Spanish came to central America and delivered diseases such as Smallpox, Measles and Influenza to the Aztecs. The Aztecs, unlike the Spanish, were definitely not immune to the diseases and caught them, making them weak and forcing them to lose the battle between them.
Although the Aztecs captured and sacrificed many of the Spanish, the Spanish resulted in taking over the capital city of Tenochtitlan and defeating all the Aztecs.
The Spanish at one point tried to spread the Catholic religion throughout Mexico, forcing Aztecs to learn more about God and the Bible. If children didn't learn their lesson about it, they were punished. They were forced to stop worshiping their gods and celebrating their festivals.
They were also made to work in Spanish mines or on estates.

Yes. Three years later, in 1513, he sailed to the North American coast, where he sighted and explored Florida, giving it its modern name. He at first thought it was another large island. After returning to Spain, he commanded an expedition to establish a permanent Florida colony in 1521, but was seriously wounded in a battle with the native tribes and died soon afterward.
What natives did Francisco Coronado meet?
The difficulty in making sense of the Coronado expedition is that he had practically no understanding of (or interest in) the native tribes, and his accounts are generally unreliable. Secondly, the tribes of that time (1540 to 1542) were not in the same places they were located in later periods - the Kiowas and Comanche had not yet arrived from further north, for example. Furthermore, different names were used to identify tribal groups than the names commonly used later.
He is said to have had a "Pawnee" guide called "El Turco" in Spanish, but this is extremely unlikely and El Turco was more probably a Caddo (later Spanish writers called the Caddo "Pawnees"). Another guide was a Wichita slave.
In Texas Coronado found the "Teya" tribe warring against the "Querechos"; both of these may have been Apache groups who at that time had no horses, but the Teyas may possibly have been a Caddoan tribe.
