To determine if someone has been arrested, call or go to the county jail where that person resides or was known to be. Ask the person who is at the desk, be prepared to have a full name and possible nickname for them to research as well as any other pertinant information that they might need. That may be possible. You must appear at your court date and request it. The judge will decide whether to allow it. Many will, especially if you have extreme financial difficulties. Some courts will not allow it under any circumstances. Depending on the court, you may have to pay a processing or supervision fee while you are performing your community service, and you may have to be on probation.

I'm pretty sure that ballistics analysts are the ones who take a spent round and define the size of the round, what type of weapon it was fired from, and try to find matches in the rifling grooves to narrow down the murder weapon to a single firearm(every firearm in the world leaves its own unique grooves on the spent round, like a fingerprint), which will hopefully point to a particular suspect in the murder case.

In the State of Missouri with no prior terms of prison incarceration most will be released in less than 6 months. Inmates sentenced to a two year sentence are eligible for parole release as soon as they arrive at the prison reception center. Most will already have jail time in that counts towards their sentence.

No he is not out of jail...... He has been transfered to another state prision that has not been know to the public! In the other State Prision he is in Soliatary Confindment also!!

Since he was placed in the witness protection program while in prison he could possibly be out of prison.

A character reference letter for a sentencing hearing should be a business letter format. It should address the Judge by name as in Dear Honorable Judge David D. Dwiddle. It should state how long you've known the person and your relationship to the person (neighbor, boss, mother, father, etc.). It should say clearly the person's good character traits. The letter should be honest, though.

There are too many unknown aspects to this question to answer it correctly. Is the subject a runaway or a fugitive? What is your relationship to this person? Are you an adult? Is the 'runaway" a minor? What sex is the runaway? Why are you housing the individual? Is sex involved? All these factors must be known before any realistic answer can be given.
