What is the first call to use for coyote hunting in Arizona?
First you need to rattle a bunch of leaves around and then use a rabbit distress call and keep doing the rattling for about 3 to 5 min. and then still use the call but quieter (remember coyotes are dogs and they have great hearing so don't be scared to use the call to quiet) after all that the coyote should come in FROM DOWN WIND coyotes always come from down wind because they see the pray and then turn around to go down wind so the pray wont smell the coyote but the coyote can smell it.
Coyotes raid the goose nests, taking as many as 20 eggs from a group of nest in a single evening. They then
dig caches, or hiding spots, nearby to store the eggs. Coyotes return later to eat the eggs, sometimes as

As deer populations grow in the Chicago region, coyotes have been taking advantage of deer fawns as a
food source. Coyotes almost always hunt alone or in pairs, and cannot kill a healthy adult deer. Although
coyotes will feed upon the remains of deer, adult deer are usually not killed by coyotes unless injured.
Coyotes, like other wildlife, also take advantage of food that people leave out, such as messy garbage
cans, bird seed and even cat and dog food left out for pets. Coyotes will also eat feral and free‐roaming
cats. The only way to keep your cat safe from coyotes is to keep it indoors.

Technically, everything is edible. I'm edible. But that would be cannibalism and is frowned upon in most societies. However, I have not heard of anyone eating coyotes. I certainly wouldn't. They are known to carry rabies, eat trash and very dead things. If you really want to eat a coyote, make sure it doesn't have rabies and cook it very well to kill any parisites it may have.

Yes, they do! Or at least one of them presently does because I saw it in my backyard on May 4, 2013. I also spotted a different colored coyote about two years ago in our neighborhood around the summer of 2011. It is a bit disconcerting as there are young children, cats, and dogs that run free in our yards. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a lot that can be done about it.
