Kids cyberbully because of different reasons. To get revenge or for fun to get poplular. Of for no reason at all. It can make the victim feel unwanted and isolated from their fellow peers and friends. To stop them is quite hard since some kids don't take these sort of things serously

On its simplest level, the Cyber corps was the first program on the cutting edge, along with the DoD Scholarship for Service.

Whereas DoD had the funds to sponsor a handful of individuals the time, the Cyber corp came out of National Security Agency (NSA). NSA worked through the National Science Foundation (NSF) and subsequently NSF, OPM, became the face of Cyber corps. DHS, IRS, NAS, Department of energy were prime grounds for a graduate, but some PH.D student didn't see the reason to take a government job starting at $32K .

I ended up in some 9th tier organization who was always in the basement and didn't go along with recommendations, were fairly clueless when it came to user problems, alone LAN and Network troubleshooting. I was there for about two months. The clincher for me was when a worker across from my cube bent over to me and gave me the following advice "Why work so hard. Do 102 things a day, you know an email to the high level & phone talk nonstop. She said "why bust your butt when you can get it the easy way".

I left and to make a long story short became a 1099 and worked where and when I wanted. It was fair - I did a good job and they paid me top dollar.

I managed to get the funding forgiven by OPM since I was a pioneer in the field as a contractor, and they soon changed it up so you're not ties to Gov't. service.

* If an individual is having problems and needs an outsiders help such as a Crisis Hot Line they are wise to choose a good one (call your telephone operator for the number for a good one.) I worked for a Crisis Hot line for two years and we were trained to take each call very seriously; especially threats of suicide. Often the person calling in can be frantic, screaming, crying, yelling, swearing or, they can be extremely quiet and not respond well to questions. For any person working for a Crisis Hot Line to be rude and uncaring they should be reported. If you get the right one they certainly can help and give you great advice. If you choose not to go this route, then you can choose someone on this site to discuss your problems with. You can also choose a relative or good friend that you trust. Schools have counselors, or you can seek help through Mental Heath (just call your telephone operator for the number.) Most people truly do care.

Bullying over the internet on sites like facebook or bebo. On instant messaging sites such as msn. Over mobile phone conversations or "happy slapping" (where you film someone being bullied) etc all of this is considered to be cyber bullying.

NO. Why would they care about you what so ever if they constantly hurt you???

Ummm. I disagree, some people only bully others because they are jealous of them or they like the person. There are many situations where boys are mean to girls and girls are mean to guys because they like the person. In other situations people are so egocentric they are just plain mean.

No, a bully tends to pick on somebody weaker because of different problems in there lives. They don't really care if they hurt you because it most likely eases them of some pain, which makes them feel better about themselves.

Yes, they must care because they mess with you everyday or whenever they do. If you can befriend a bully its possibly because they've wanted someone to talk to.

Yes if you poison on it and lick somebody esles tongue or have a knife on it and stab somebody.

• Humans of any age like to feel they are well thought of and when other people tell untruths about them or gossip and say terrible things about them constantly then especially students have a difficult time over hearing the gossip and having to face their peers every day in school. This causes some students to become depressed and withdrawn. A particular person may just go home and listen to music and withdraw from life, but also become lonely and feel no one cares for them and that they will never fit in and they always have the fear of what new gossip may occur. The stress can be too much for certain people and can lead to suicide. However, it is important to know that there are few bullies in schools or only one or two groups of so called 'elite' or the 'beautiful people' and it's highly important to know that there are other students or other people that the bullied person can make friends with. It is wise to ignore the gossip because the person being bullied knows who they truly are and to understand school is not forever. Being gossiped about is not reason to commit suicide. It is wise to talk to a family member or a good friend. Everyone has one friend. If not in school then face your accusers and be calm, but tell them you know who and what you are and they can gossip all they like; then walk away. There is always someone at school or in a crowd anywhere that will come forward and stand up for the person being verbally bullied. Gossip can only continue if the others in the group or the on lookers allow it to happen. Most people have been gossiped about or bullied at least once in their lifetime.

A lot of people have committed suicide from cyber bullying, of course it has the same penalties as regular, it is ILLEGAL!
