Why do young women run from relationships?
Possibly because low self-esteem makes them doubt that that person really loves them, or that if they do, that love will last. The person who runs away from love does not have the courage to face loss, their ego will not cope with it.

A piece of paper making your relationship official as far as I can see nowadays in a religious light. For non-religious people including myself I find there is no difference. My wife IS my girlfriend - the official paperwork is only a formality ... we were committed to each other long before we even considered marriage. We treat each other as if we were still dating ... as boyfriend and girlfriend ... keeps the relationship fresh and healthy.
