Me, I live close to the border, so I go to Mexico to my dentist who has the proper education, skill and experience to do a good job. I'd say, the work compares very well with what you might find in the USA.

It is normal for bleeding after wisdom teeth extraction. The bleeding might come and go for 24 hours, but should not be constant in a high flow. If this is the case, call your dentist. If you don't have coton gauze anymore, you can put a wet tea bag and bite on it. It acts as a coton and it has tannic acid which slows down the bleeding. Signs of infection would be a flow of puss coming out of the hole. If you are not sure, see your dentist.

Sounds like you might have a small piece of food get into the socket, and now the socket has become infected. You need to get back to your dentist, have him clean it out and get on some antibiotics. You don't want the infection to spread. Remember your face is pretty close to your brain!

What an odd question? Just about anyone can afford an expensive car if they (a) are willing to save up for it, and (b) are willing to sacrifice life's other experiences/objects!

I'm only 15 and I know that it is certainly not recommended to do this. If they are applied without an x-ray, your dentist and/or oral surgeon will not know how to assess a problem if one were to arise. Also, they won't be able to show you how much your teeth have moved and if any movement actually occurred, besides the obvious. This is necessary in order for them to determine how much they should tighten the wires. Trust me, I wear them myself, and x-rays have been taken a few times. Ask for them when you have the chance.
