If you are using AA batteries in a digital camera, you will save a ton of money by buying rechargeable Nickle Metal Hydride (NI-Mh) batteries. You can charge them over and over again. If you do not want to use rechargeable batteries, Lithium AA batteries are the longest lasting. You can use regular alkaline batteries if you need to, but you won't get many photos if you use your flash!

Batteries die fast in a digital camera because when you turn the camera on, the flash circuit charges up the high voltage flash capacitor. This can draw 1 to 2 amps of current from the batteries for a few seconds. Most AA batteries are not designed for this so the camera will give you a "Low Battery" warning after a few photos.

Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre invented the daguerreotype process in France. The invention was announced to the public on August 19, 1839 at a meeting of the French Academy of Sciences in Paris. Daguerreotypists in major cities invited celebrities and political figures to their studios in the hopes of obtaining a likeness for display in their windows and reception areas. They encouraged the public to visit their galleries, which were like museums, in the hope that they would desire to be photographed as well. By 1850, there were over 70 daguerreotype studios in New York City alone.

It is hard to quantify which digital camera bundle is the best because there are different categories of digital cameras. In terms of price, the most economical is the Samsung WB 150 bundle, which can be had for under $175.

Kinda depends, generally in my experience the size of a jpeg high res image directly from, say a canon t2i, is between 5.5 and 11mb, some as much as 16mb. An estimate therefore would be approximately 2979, 1489, and 1024 pics respectively. This however is only an estimate as each picture has different information which takes up more or less space than the previous picture even on the same device. Aditionally, it's unlikely that you would be using or keeping pictures in raw, but if you are, expect considerably less than that, on average canon raw files are around twice the size and generally save jpeg as well for menu images. So it would put that average number at around 750 or so pics, but most likely less.

All of the major companies are good choices. Pentax, Nikon, Minolta, Olympus and Canon are all top level manufacturers. Digital ID, also known as a digital certificate, is a form of electronic credentials for the Internet. Digital certificate is issued by a trusted third party to establish the identity of the ID holder. The third party who issues certificates is known as a Certification Authority (CA). Digital certificate technology is based on the theory of public key cryptography. In public key cryptography systems, every entity has two complementary keys, a public key and private key, which function only when they are placed together. The purpose of a Digital ID is to reliably link a public/private key pair with its owner. When a CA issues Digital IDs, it verifies that the owner is not claiming a false identity.

Try by removing the memory stick and then attaching the camera to computer with USB cable. Switch on camera. It should open up a dialogue box in Windows XP (or similar OS). Select 'open folder to view file' or open Windows Explorer and open camera folder (probably displayed as new drive E: or like that in My Computer) . You may also check whether there is an option of selecting "camera as mass storage device" in settings menu of camera. If yes then select this before connecting. If you have no means of attaching the camera to the computer, place an empty memory stick into the camera. In review mode, a message indicates there is no data, but there is in the internal memory. While still in review mode, press the menu button and go the the "Setup" section, the last option. Now, scroll down to the "Memory Stick Tool" section. From there, highlight the "Copy" choice at the bottom, and select the OK option to proceed. You will get a message: "All data in internal memory will be copied." Press OK, and it will copy everything in the internal memory to your memory stick. Then, when you have plugged the memory stick into your computer, you will find a new folder entitled Copy. All your photos from the internal memory of the camera will be in there.
