Why does a DVR record the wrong program?
Two possibilities: 1) your clock is set slightly off. Clocks sometimes "drift" and you need to adjust their settings occasionally. 2) the networks sometimes screw around with the start and stop times of programs, to discourage people who "time shift" (record something to watch at a more convenient time). For example, this coming Tuesday, ABC has "Body of Proof" starting at 10:01, not at 10:00 - so if you record this show, you may miss the last minute of it.
Of course, "live" events like a football game can run overtime and affect the times of other programs on the same network.

How many hours will a 64GB card record on a camcorder?
The recording time on a 64GB card for a camcorder depends on the video resolution and compression format used. The same way you would rename a folder, or any other file. Right click and then scroll down to the rename option and click on it. Just be sure that you keep the extension after the period, otherwise, Pinnacle won't recognize it.
Using the adapter, play the tape as normal on a VHS player.
You also need a dedicated DVD recorder, or a computer with DVD burner and AV capture card.
Hook the VHS player to the computer or recorder via the Phono leads (or SCART in europe). Connect the video OUT of the VHS to the Video IN of the DVD recorder or computer capture device. Do similar with the audio leads.
The rest depends on the make and model of your DVD recorder, or the software you are using on a computer.
Basically it can be done quite easily, but it has to be done in 'real time'. You play the tape normally and capture it on the device of your choice.
Using a computer and editing software, you can do more with editing and adding effects and titles.

Will you erase everything off your digital video recorder - DVR - if you unplug it?
No... Your DVR uses hard drive technology that saves data to a disk that retains its contents even if unpowered.
I would like to have the choice of recording programmes, not ones that are designated by a tv company. Eg I am paying for a television network, in fact two, the BBC for their network and licence which covers radio transmissions for which I had agreed a very long time ago. The other for SKY. I am next asked to pay for definition tv. Not so.
However when I want to record a tv programme, which is becoming rarer, I would like to have the choice. My television which I bought as state of the art as having lots of facilities will not allow me to record another programme unless it it on view.
