As with most highly active sports, it helps to keep one fit and healthy. It also teaches one physical skills and body and emotional control under pressure.

They are also an excellent means of socializing, creating friendships and meeting new people; and most sports also help build personal character and discipline. They also create opportunities for leadership and organizational experiences. Team sports also teach teamwork and selflessness in general.

Nearly all basketballs have an inflatable inner rubber bladder inside, generally wrapped in layers of fiber and then covered with a tacky surface made either from leather (traditional), rubber, or a synthetic composite. As in most inflatable balls, there is a small needle valve opening to allow the pressure to be increased or decreased.

Dodgeball is when you have two or moor people on each side of a court. The objective

of the game is to hit the opisite team with the balls, causing them to get off the court.

the team with the last man standing Wins. This game is tipicaley played with 5 to 10

players, in a gymnaseum or P.E. class with soft kickballs or balls made of foam. In my

opinion Dodgeball is an extremley fun game. Its a great way to have fun with friends

and burn off some weight whail your at it.

It is also one of the best games/sport ever!

The exact origin and time of the creation of dodge ball is unknown. Dodge ball could have been created as a supplemental training program to avoid slow moving projectiles, or it could have just originated as a childhood game. The second option is possible because dodge ball is played all over the world and has different rules from region to region.

Nobody knows for certain who came up with it first. Some say the cavemen or the Chinese, but there seems to be no credible proof of that. The only original source for the idea of the Chinese inventing it and playing the game in a macabre sort of way comes from a movie.

But what we do know is that the game is at least 600 years old. Three Africans, Adelin Zika, Micheal Hud and Kirit Kam, are credited for having invented it.

Augustus Hagerson adapted and popularized the sport in Africa in 1832 and spread the sport to Guam in 1833.

Others claim it began in the US in 1920 by an independent invention. Two men, Walter Young and Philip Livingston, returned from World War I and found work in a factory. They engaged in horseplay at work by throwing a foam ball at each other. One day, the foam ball got into a machine and came out with a fine layer of rubber on it. They were fired for this, but the ball inspired them to create a new sport. While this new sport caught on in Akron, Ohio and surrounding areas, there was little interest beyond Ohio. However, it seems the US Department of Education quickly picked up the game and introduced it as part of physical education in public schools.

One reason is that when you are playing dodgeball then when someone is not looking and they're back is turned to you its kind of funny when someone just throws the ball

We are made by our parents.

And not just by their physical act.
