How many quarts of oil does a 2008 dodge viper take?

You do not list exactly which Viper you have. It can be from 7.5 to 10 quarts with filters change. You need to get yourself an owners manual in the worst way. You have a very expensive vehicle and no owner's manual to guide you in maintaining this beautiful car. Get an owner's manual. Until you can get yourself an owner's manual do this. Park the vehicle on a level surface. Drain the oil and change the filters. Pour in 7 quarts of oil and start the engine. Let it run for 45 seconds and shut off. Wait 45 minutes and check the level. Add enough to reach the full mark. You now know the capacity. Warning: Do not overfill.

Is a temperature gauge reading of 210 degrees on a 1999 Dodge Viper RT10 normal?

yes 210 degree is normal . The gauge actaully reads 10 degrees higher (+) than the occupant can see visually on the gauge. Team Viper did this as a means to keep Viper owners from burning up the engines and keep the warranty work down. Watter Wetter ( A red line company product) works effective on reducing engine temps if that is your goal. Turn on the A/C and watch the temp drop ! Viper Racer
