If your truck is modified to make more power then you are probably "lifting" the head,combustion and boost levels get higher as you increase power.
The way to fix that is to get the head "O-ringed" where a machine shop cuts a ring in the head,or block and a metal ring is installed to keep combustion pressures from blowing the gasket and/or install a head stud kit,this will keep the head down tighter,and the head studs don't stretch as much as the stock bolts.(I'd just do that if you have the money) head studs are running around the $425 range.
If it's stock then the problem is probably that the block needs to be surfaced,sometimes the "deck" of the block can be uneven.If it is stock and you've lost another head gasket then I'd suggest taking it to a different shop,unless they are willing to repair it for free.

1. unhook battery!!!!!! I did not and got zapped by the alternator 2. take off over flow tank 3. remove belt really easy 4. remove the fan using a clutch fan tool that you can rent from auto zone 5. Optional but makes the job really easy but longer....remove ac compressor, alternator and the bracket that it all sets on 6. remove radator hoses from pump. 7. Unbolt water pump from engine really good idea is lay the new pump on the ground and as you pull the bolts out of the old pump put them where they would go in the new one. That will save a lot of time and effort. 8. repeat in reverse should be good to go.

Add a key when you already have two: 1) Insert one the programmed transponder keys into the ignition lock cylinder and turn the switch to the "ON" position 2) The key should be in the "ON" position for 5 seconds but not more than 15 seconds. Turn back to the "OFF" position. 3) Within 10 seconds, insert second programmed transponder key into the ignition and turn to the "ON" position. The VTSS ( Vehicle Theft Security System ) or Immobilizer System lamp (depending on model ) should start to flas. An audible tone will indicate the system has entered the " Programming Mode ". 4) Within 45 seconds, turn the switch to the "OFF" position. Insert the new transponder key and turn the switch to the "ON" position. After approx. 10 seconds and audible tone will sound and indicator lamp will illuminate briefly. This will let you know key has been programmed. 5) To add aditional keys, repeat steps 1 - 4.

This is hard to explan but I'll try. The engine should be at normal temperture. (1) Use an optical tachometer such as Snap on # MT139 or Cummins # 3377462 to read the engine rpm (2) Adjust to low idle speed at the low idle speed screw. The srew & locknut are located at the rear of the fuel injection pump. (Looking at the pump with someone you trust slowly pushing the gas pedal. The lever at the rear of the pump will rest on a set screw when the pedal is at idle position. This is the low idle set screw). Loosen the lock nut at the bottom of the screw and adjust to factory spec. From the factory manual with an automatic 750 to 800 RPM with the park brake lock, transmission in drive & air conditioning on. (Real partner TRUST is needed here). With manual trans. 780 RPM park brake set, in neutral & air condition on.

You could check all fuses and relays in the cab and under the hood. Remember that just because a fuse looks good, it may not be. It's best to use a test light when checking these. Check the wiring to make sure there arent any breaks etc. Lastly, the bulbs may be bad too.
