What age should you breed huskies?
ideal age is between 2 and 5 years .. that doesnt mean you can breed them after that age .. but i certainly wouldn't consider breeding before the age of two .. dogs are in adolescent stage between age 1 and 2 to me that's still way to young to breed them ..
Can you give your puppy bleach water?
Please don't do that. Bleach is really quite toxic and, while I know you can do that for humans in the wilderness to cut down bacterial count in contaminated water, no-one was worked out the dosage for dogs. Just get them fresh water every day -- healthier for you both.

Puppy will not nurse What do I do?
Healthy puppies have a strong suckling reflex and will nurse vigorously almost immediately after birth. If you are caring for a puppy that will not nurse, it probably is one of the weaker ones in the litter and will need intervention. With the right tools and some tender care, you may be able to help the struggling pup and give it a good start in life. However, consult your veterinarian if, despite your efforts, the puppy still refuses to nurse.
InstructionsSeparate the puppy to provide special care. Separate the puppy from its mother and litter mates. A puppy that does not nurse requires special care, and separating it is a good way to monitor the pup and prevent it from being injured by the other dogs.
Place the puppy in a box lined up with soft towels. Newborn puppies are unable to regulate their body temperature, so they depend on their mothers and the surrounding environment for warmth. Hang a heat lamp from the ceiling by screwing in a ceiling hook and attaching one end of a chain to it while attaching the other end of the chain to the heat lamp. Keep the lamp at least five feet above the box and aim for a temperature of 75 to 80 degrees.
Collect some milk from the mother to allow the puppy to receive colostrum. Gently squeeze the nipple in a downward motion and collect the drops in a test tube. Colostrum, also known as ''mother's gold'' for its color, provides puppies with full immunity and is produced in the first 12 hours at most. Fill a dropper with the colostrum and feed the puppy drop by drop on the tongue to provide important antibodies. Repeat several times in the first few hours.
Ensure that your puppy is getting enough fluids. Try to dropper feed it a puppy milk replacement formula. If none is available, dissolve one tablespoon of sugar in one cup of water and attempt to feed. If the puppy still refuses to drink, give about 10 to 20 milliliters (depending on the breed) of lactated Ringers solution with the syringe subcutaneously as needed, ensuring that the needle stays under the skin almost horizontally. Ask your veterinarian to give you a demonstration the first time.
Try several times to encourage the puppy to nurse. Place a drop of Karo syrup on the puppy's tongue. This will give the puppy an energy boost and may encourage suckling. Squeeze the mother's nipple to allow a drop of milk out, and place the puppy near the nipple in hopes that it will start nursing. Try this several times until the puppy nurses on its own. If the puppy still refuses to nurse, contact your veterinarian.

How long does it take for a pregnant miniature schnauser to give birth?

When should you breed your pitbull for the first time?
The proper age to breed a Pit Bull as well as any dog is at least 2 years old. No sooner, and if you are going to breed, breed responsibly, do genetic testing. Have their hips and elbows OFA tested. Have their eyes CERF ED and their ears BAER tested. There are enough "Pit Bulls" in this world without homes or good homes as it is. Do not contribute to the problem unless you know your dog is and will produce genetically sound puppies, with good temperaments and good conformation as well. If you breed before 2 years it can cause serious problems for the females pelvis development.
Does the amount of times dogs lock when breeding mean that is how many puppies they will have?
No, there is no relevancy as to how many times a dog "locks" equaling the amount of puppies. You do need to watch those dates that the dogs lock though, because it changes your due dates.
The best time to breed is once the bitch goes into actual heat, is actually bleeding, not just showing the signs. Then we allow the male and female to hook once a day for three days consecutively. This way we know that the breeding has taken place, because one day may not have taken where as another day it may have. Doing this only once a day also ensures that the male isn't exhausted and has strong sperm, and the female isn't exhausted. Then we calculate each of those 3 days out as the possible due dates. We never take them beyond those 3 days. There is more to it than just what I mentioned, but I am trying to stick to your question without giving information overload.
What do you do When your newborn puppy was born with its eyes open?
If it has watery and blinking and closing eyes a lot and everything else it does seems fine, it may go away after a while, or your puppy may have been born with it and it learned to get used to it. However, if it just started and it is irritated, look for eye drops recommended for his weight and/or height at your local pet store, or in the pet section of a store. If that doesn't work than see a vet.
Another name for a pet doctor is a veterinarian. They usually specialize in treating household pets such as dogs or cat. However, they can study to care for other animals as well.

How long after neutering your puppy will he feel better?
Most veterinarians provide pain relief for only a short time post-operatively, if at all. Pain is a good way to limit the activity of a dog, which is necessary after surgery so sutures don't break and healing can start.

How do you train your puppy to do tricks?
Really no different than training a dog. Use treats like nuts or yogurt drops or tiny little pieces of cheese (whichever your mouse like best--some don't like cheese). If you want the mouse to go across a string a couple of inches off the ground then lure the mouse with a treat and have a larger piece at the end of the string on a platform. Mice are extremely easy to train. They're not as motivated by food as some species are, though, so you might have to get it hungry by taking out its food dish for a few hours before you try to train it.
