Is bactrim given to puppies for worms?
Bactrim is not given to puppies for deworming purposes. You need to know what types of worms your pup has & then use the appropriate dewormer for the types of worms pup has. I suggest you take your pup & a sample of his or her feces into your Veterinarian to be checked out. What are you giving the Bactrim for and who gave it to you?

How do you take care of a pregnant dog?
You have to make sure she is not hurt or in too much sunlight when she is giving birth and she cant be outside Here are the things youll need:
- You will need a Big used unwanted Blanket or towel
- You will need a soft rag to clean the puppy off (BE VERY GENTLE)
- You also will need a baby nose unclogger
- You will need a friend to help the dog that is giving birth
- A couple of pieces of different colored yarn (optional)
- You need to be ready to help Her
- Clean hands
Heres what you do:Put her on top of the blanket and sit by her and wait for her to put her head on the floor and if you have a weak stomach id suggest you DONT watch the next thing. Then when the puppy is out let her lick the overcoat goo stuff off of the puppy and use the baby nose unclogger to get the goo out of its mouth and nose.
then get your soft rag to clean the puppy off and gently lift the puppy up (Even if the mother wants to bite your head off shes too weak) (DONT DROP HER/HIM) get your friend to watch the momma while you gently wipe off the goop on the puppy and put a colored string around its neck (not too tight!) the second one same thing with different colored string then first one. Keep doing so only with different string and be with that dog 24/7
Is it harmful to feed a puppy honey?
I would avoid it, personally, only because I know that feeding an infant (human) honey is dangerous. This is because at such a young age, allergic reactions can be life-threatening. The main reason, however, is because of the risk of botulism toxins, which are found in nature and in many food products. However, with an immature digestive system, they are unable to cope with something we as adults can handle without incident.
Being that a puppy will also have an immature digestive system, I would theorize that it's a good idea to avoid honey and food products containing honey. Stick to Puppy Chow and mother's milk, or milk replacement fluid (which is good for them even if they were weaned properly... also a treat that they LOVE).
Sorry but she is... chihuahua's are fertile at 9months, she is expecting congrat though!
Do 12week old puppies pee a lot?
Puppies do not gain bowel or bladder control until they are around four months of age. Until then, you shouldn't expect a puppy to "hold it" for every long. A good rule of thumb for how many hours a pup can go between potty breaks, is the puppy's age in months, plus one. A three month old puppy shouldn't be expected to "hold it" for more than 4 hours.
Until the puppy is trained to relieve itself outside, it would think nothing of going to the bathroom in the house, because it doesn't know any better.
Can one litter of puppies have two different colored puppies?
Yes. Just like you can have different a different color hair then your brothers and sisters puppies can be different colors too because there are different gene combination possibilities.
Is it OK to feed puppy food to an adult dog?
You are better sticking with a puppy food formula as it is specially formulated for growing puppies. This can be wet or dry puppy food known ad Kibble. Water can be added to kibble to make it into a porridge mix which younger puppies prefer or a mixture of both.

How do you stop dogs from biting and attacking while stuck to other dogs?
Well, If the female is particularly displeased with mating in the first place, or is usually dog aggressive, it is safest to have a muzzle on her to avoid injury to the male or the humans supervising the breeding. Males typically do not have aggression issues during breeding, as they have a one track mind.
If the female or male continuously thrashes around trying to get unstuck, it is best to get into the situation yourself, and hold the thrasher still. Even better is to have another person on hand to hold both dogs still.
Often times, first time breeders freak out when they are locked, and try to get unstuck, but doing so can injure both dogs.
